So LSU bama and Florida not Clemson
Call me cocky
See, this is why we as Clemson fans can't stand Carolina fans. We're educated and smart enough to know that your team is a very formidable opponent, yet you being the typical SEC fan boy can't possibly imagine a team from any conference other than the SEC giving you a challenge. Just for the record, since I was with the Tigers in 2001 to now, the series is 6-4 in favor of Clemson. Go back even further and Clemson enjoys a 16-8 advantage since 1988. Or if you want to go the whole length of the series, Clemson leads that one too 65-40-4.
So yes, you stay up there on your high horse, and if we are lucky enough to beat the cocks in a few weeks, make sure you stick around the forum so we can chat about it...
But I'm guessing you're like the typical SEC fan who loves to talk smack until they lose and then they disappear...

Should get a pretty good indication if Carolina is for real this evening. They look good but the only good team they've played was Georgia but it's hard to say how good Georgia really is because the first good team they face was Carolina.

LSU is a tough place to play at night. If Carolina wins, especially comfortably, then I think you can make a case that they are for real.

If Carolina wins out they should be ranked above Bama before the SEC championship game. I just don't see where Bama has proven anything yet. They beat up Michigan first game out but then Michigan turned out to be a much weaker team than thought. Way I see it Bama played Michigan, Will play at LSU but other than that the only serious challenge they face MIGHT be Texas A&M who really haven't proven themselves yet. It will be real interesting to see where the first BCS rankings have everyone. Of course Notre Dame might lose to Stanford so they may be out of the running for now.

Two deathvallys and a bunch of tigers I wonder sometimes if Clemson is just a knock off team even though they where there first idk just rambling

4 man rush and LSU is all over the Carolina QB. I don't know that this team can play with Bama. They have some tanks on the line.

21-23 LSU I guess it's to much to ask for one perfect season
This should drop us to 10 lucky it's not to late in the season maybe 1,2,5,4 with lose and we win the rest idk
We could have one if our d didn't give up after tht td and interception.

I believ that we can beat Oregon and win
Sc and oregon are the only real teams this that are bowl eligible

Going into last night I thought Carolina was probably the best in the SEC but after seeing their line I am not sure they can beat Florida

So Bionic, Think A&M has anything for them?
LSU isn't the powerhouse they were the last few seasons. They've shown they can be beat, and aren't as intimidating. A&M has one advantage of being able to play them at home. "Johnny Football" has been putting up some impressive numbers, and is even been talked about being a Heismann candidate this year. I think it'll boil down to how the defense plays today. Lousiana Tech made some high school team's defense look better than the way the Aggies defended their hurry-up offense. They couldn't contain Patton to save their lives. A&M also seems to have a problem maintaining leads in the second half. They let Florida come back from a deficit, and they had a 27 point lead over Lousiana Tech before almost allowing them to come back and win. They'll need to put a bunch of points on the board, then hope the defense shows up to allow them to maintain that lead if they want to win against LSU. It don't get much easier after this week. They have to play Alabama next week on their home field. Depending how they end up against LSU will be a big factor on how they'll match up against Roll Tide Roll.

I'll be interested to see how your team matches up against the "powerhouses" I'm going to laugh my butt off if the lowly big 12 cast off walks in and has a dominating conference season

For me I would rather Watch Northwestern Play. Why those guys are TRUE Student Atheletes not basically kids marking time til the NFL can Draft them. Northwestern does NOT have lower Standards for anyone a 700 SAT will not get you in there. I also played in their Band Days when they would have HS Bands from all over the State come up there and Play with the Marching Wildcats and those where some of the Best days I ever Had.

Looks like your gonna have to beat LSU, the officials and the announcers LOL!!!
Manziel throwing 3 interceptions didn't help. Tre Williams runs a kickoff return to the Red Zone, and Manziel couldn't get it in. Then the kicker couldn't even kick a 20 yard field goal. That last run into the goal by LSU was the deal breaker. A&M had their chances and blew it. Don't think they'll bode well with Alabama next week. If they could get an upset, that woud turn the BCS upside down.

I dunno, there were some interesting calls and no calls in that game. The play where the defender got hurt AS HE WAS BEING TACKLED was interesting. How do you miss that? LSU got bailed out by a ticky tac PI call on the one TD drive and even so A&M was in it till the end. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss their chances against Bama
