Ik in the world of high school sports u see tons of knee injuries from serious to not so bad
This was pretty bad. He had previously injured the other knee but I don't know exactly what the injury was. I would have assumed as part of his rehab they would have worked on conditioning this knee too which is why I wonder if he will come back. Willis McGahey (SP?) Had a nasty knee injury his last year of college back in 01 I think it was and I am watching him run all over the Saints right now. This guy probably wont know for a long time but I would expect he will rehab like he intends to come back but you never really know how the knee will respond. I hate to see any of these kids get hurt like that but at least they have their education to fall back on.

Ya I have a I'd on my phone of his knee close up and u can see Bone bulging on the side
I'm glad the NFL makes you have atleast 2yrs of college b4 the pros

You see your boy Spurrier make an a$$ out of himself by ripping Swinney when he had nothing but wonderful things to say about Lattimore? This is why no one outside of Columbia and low country likes Carolina. Your coach is a tool, plain and simple...

Well he's a good coach and a hiesmen winner so I didn't see tht but I hope lattimore gets better soon plus I really don't care if people like the gamecocks

Spurrier is SOOOO overrated. He just brought in a wide open offense into a defense minded conference. He's a good coach but he isn't that good.

My biggest thing with Spurrier, and really the fundamental difference between Clemson and South Carolina... Is that Spurrier will let JUCO's, felons, drug addicts, etc play on his team; and when they do screw up, he barely slaps them on the wrist. Clemson on the other hand... Our first team all american receiver got busted with pot, and Swinney benched him for two games, including the opener against Auburn. Guy on Carolina have been arrested for much worse and don't even miss a game...

No, you don't get suspended by the NCAA, you get suspended by the compliance department of the university. Trust me, I worked in the Clemson athletic department for three years. Now, the NCAA can decide whatever it is you decided to do wasn't enough, and can threaten you with penalties that affect the whole team, but not the individual... That's like when any big program gets busted for something, they will always have "self imposed" penalties first, and hope that the NCAA finds it sufficient.

Lou Holtz never messed around with players. You did something he didn't like you got blisters on your butt.

And Clemsonkid the NCAA sets up everything thts y u hear about the NCAA suspensions and they tell the school to punish that goes to u 2 reefraff

Ok, i'll trust the high school kid with no knowledge of how the NCAA compliance bylaws work over the guy who played and worked in a D1 Athletic Department...

Watever... And I just back u up idiot
Ok, look you're a kid, so I won't pick on you. However, a little life advice... Work on your grammar and spelling. I know you think it makes no difference whether you say "you" or "u", or if your sentences have any structure to them. One day though, you may have an employer or potential job who looks through public forums like these to decide who he or she wants to hire. It's the little things in life that make all the difference. Just my two cents...

There are certain things the NCAA doesn't get involved with. In cases where it is an individual infraction they tend to let the school deal with it. There are even cases where a school has created their own punishment after being caught in a systematic violation where the NCAA deemed no further action on their part was required.

I'm excited for the s**tstorm that is about to happen in the BCS. It looks quite possible at this point that Alabama, Oregon, Kansas State and Notre Dame could all end up undefeated. Obviously Alabama gets one spot, but who do you give the second spot to? And imagine if Alabama lost a close game at LSU this weekend... do they still get in over an undefeated KSU, Oregon, or Notre Dame? Oh I love the drama!

I would say if they tried to give a one loss SEC team a spot in the NC game over undefeated BCS teams you could see a multi conference boycott of the BCS bowls. Back when they foolishly put Oklahoma in over USC after OK lost the conference championship game you had several coaches violate their contract and vote USC number 1. This would be seen as a much larger travesty than that.
