think i should maybe add some top off water????
You could - just don't overfill . . incase the power quit do you have enough room in the sump to hold the DT overflow till the siphon breaks? Adding some may help.
Also try lowering (reducing) the bubble level some. Usually the air adjustment will allow this.
You may need to alter your sump some to allow for bubble rise prior to it being sucked into the return pump.
I'd also get those test kits out from under the tank/in the stand. It's a moist enviroment in there, and the moisture will cause the papers to mold, and could casue other issues. (speaking from experience)

It can remain that way forever...lol... but I hope that you can figure it out... because I can't stand it when I don't have enough top off water in my sump and bubbles get into my tank...

Okay...you have the coralife skimmer that I hated so much I gave it away....See the hose where it goes into that black box?.....extend the hose and the black overflow box until it is underwater. Lower the box, don't add more water. The box must be underwater. I also added white filler under the black sponge to try and get rid of micro bubbles.
You should have baffles that separate the chambers...that "SHOULD" get rid of the micro bubbles.

I had a used 30g long glass tank and I had a glass place cut baffles for me.....I used silicone to hold them in place. I divided it into three sections, the retun is in the center and the one end is the overflow from the tank and the opposite side is the refugium that flows over to the center return chamber. I dosn't look very good but it functions. I have a Tunz nano skimmer for up to 60g in the overflow chamber. It's such a small skimmer and it works awesome.
I have a larger version on the 90g...I run an Octopus 1000 sss in that sump...another awesome skimmer. I had the Coralife you are using as a HOB and it drove me to tears with microbubbles, floading... and it took it a solid month to skim 1/8th of skim in the cup. It just never worked right.

How long has your tank been set up and did you just do a water change., That is what all 4 of my powerheads looked like when I set my tank up , I think it was the salt settling on them. Just a thought...
