New 10g Nano, ideas please!!

thanks! it was really easy to make. no screws or anything. the 2 main pieces are metal square tubbing. and there are 4 flat metal rods inside the tubbing that i just bent, 2 go under the tank to lock it all in place and the other 2 are what you see holding the lights. just used a hammer to bend them into place

yea i was looking online and the mount made for my light was about $80 and i spend about $20 on those 6 pieces of metal.

me too! i want to build a new stand for the 17g tank but my gf wont let me cuz we just bought the stand we have now

17g is an interesting size... I've never heard of 17g tanks before!

yea its a mr aqua rimless tank. on their site it says 17.1 gallons. so its a little bigger than the stand we bought by about half an inch and i really dont want the edges of the tank hanging off at all

yea i saw that! i dont have that much room for one honestly. i already pretty much have a design for what i wanted to do. its pretty similar with 2 doors and black paint. ill post in a bit

Yea I like the rimless ones that they have. I havnt checked out any of their other ones yet. But they seem to be pretty fairly priced

I think that rimless large tanks are over rated, but nano tanks definitely benefit from being rimless.

yea for nanos i think it makes it look bigger, and just nicer in general. with the big tanks its not really necessary. plus alot of them are acrylic and the custom ones dont have the rim but a little bit different design nyways
