probably not, mostly because i wont be getting that tank for a while. rent is due on the first and i have other bills to pay and what not so yea

thanks snake, if all go wells ill hopefully have a few things in the tank next week. i need to get my cuc going cuz i cant stand the nasty brown algae all over the tank. my lights are going to be here on tuesday of next week. so corals will be coming soon!

I would wait 3 months before stocking with coral. Make sure your fish do well and your tank stabilizes before getting coral.

well i got 2 turbo snails, 2 red leg hermits, and a good size feather duster (my gf really really really wanted this) idk if its too soon for one i hope it doesnt die but anyways its in the tank and looks pretty good

Cool. Feather dusters require food in the water column to survive. You might want to consider adding 1mL of phytoplankton every other day to the tank to try to keep it alive. If it's not happy, it's head will pinch off and/or it will crawl out of it's tube and search for a new home with better conditions. (at that point, it's really vulnerable and needs a lot of care.)

It will look bad the first couple of months you start the tank.
it will just keep getting better with proper husbandry and maintenance.

new rock work! broke most of the rocks in half and it gave me much better pieces to work with. what do you think?


okay so got a feather duster, my gf wanted it so i got it against my better judgement. whats goin on with it?

also i need a center piece for the big open spot in the sand. any ideas of your alls favorite corals that i could make the center piece of my tank
