its called a longnose hawkfish. very entertaining fish. in the wild, it will sit still for hours upon hours on rocks waiting for prey to swim by. in the home aquarium, it will perch itself upon the rocks in the same fashion, but moves around more readily in the aquaria
here is a link to the fish. SWfish has them for sell

Oh, that Imperator is going to be so fun to watch it go through it's change.
I'm so jealous!!!! I wanted one so bad and then I learned they were not reef safe.
Maybe in the future I'll just have to break down and get a tank especially for my Imperator. I must get a larger house!

haha yeah, a larger house to help out with our obsession would be nice eh?
some people have had luck with angels in their reefs. i have a devils hand leather and he hasn't touched it. not once. might be worth a shot.
i would totally try to do a reef but i have our raccoon that would just tear apart anything. always wanted to get a frogspawn tho....

havnt been on this thread for while, so here is an update. as u all may know a lot of our fish passed... i think something got in the water and so forth. that was awhile ago tho. since then, we have fixed the problem and have been taking it nice and slow. we are going to be adding a medium size queen angel into the tank for one of our 2 show fish ( other will prob be a hawaiian black trigger- if we can find one.)
im up at college so my younger bro is doing all of this at home. hes doing a good job with the tank. i will see if he can get pics up of the tank.

2 percs

if there is room and if the parameters look good, we will add a Hawaiian black trigger

Looking good Norman! Your queen looks like my second Queen Angel that didnt make it out of QT. She is awesome! I definitly think that you have room for the Black Durgeon Trigger. Although, they are very rarely found in trade under 6-8 inches.
Good luck...

i've been looking for the trigger, when one of our LFS gets one in i think we may get it ( if everything is looking good that is )
