Look at the dimension on the Aquaticlife mini skimmer 115. I have had mine for about 2 years now. I would not hesitate to buy another if this one craps out for some reason. Fits in the chamber of the bio cube.
Agree with the airstone statement. Must be replaced at the very most monthly, probably sooner to keep it running correctly.
Just ordered it....Thanks Henry....also ordered a Jager heater and a new mag float....YAY

do you really think you will need a heater as the tank needs to be kept about 75 degrees. lol
LOL....It was cool this week and the tank was about 74......then it was warm today and the tank went up to 81....
I just want to be prepared JIC, and have the right equip. It' my understanding there is a plug in the chiller for the heater, and it will control it too.....IDK...Have not even read the manual online yet
I may not need it....who knows.....
HEY T....horses will hitch on a leather tree and kenya /colt won't they? I was also thinking a red sea fan....I don;t think they are photosynthetic
just thinking of stuff LOL
Corky fingers, knobby sea rods and sea fans are all awesome additions to a pony tank. I probably have 10 different varieties or more as they are readily available here.
A nice plus to these as opposed to all plastic hitches is that they do feed on the excess food in the water as well.

They have to be non-phtosynthetic cause I got the CF lights......I definitely want to try to get some live stuff......I have a lot of looking around to do
Yes, kenys and colts will be fine. I would think corky and purple seawhips would also be fine with your lights, especially with the extra feedings they would get.
Not sure about the red seafan.

Yeah I placed an order with SWF earlier...they had a red seafan in stock, BUT I did not order it cause it said it needed high lighting.....
PLUS I have lots of time still....LOL....
There is really NOT a lot of current in the cube that I can notice so far, so I think that will be good for the horses too
I'm with Teresa. I think you could keep some photosynthetic gorgs under your lights without any issues. Non-photosynthetics are always such a pia to raise, and even with dedicated hobbyists like yourself their survival rate is pretty low.
