New 28G Nano Cube for Horses :)

I have it. I have never had a problem with it going sexual, but it does tend to take over. The last time I trimmed, I got half a 5 gal bucket worth.

Well I just put that one piece in for now....I kinda stuck it in the sand cause I was not sure what else to do with it....LOL
Last night I picked 2 crabs out of one of my other tanks to see if they would eat the "brown" They will be removed before I add more rock

I know Renee uses it a lot in her tanks. I think as long as you are aware of it and its ability to release gamates and really make a mess of things, and do things to avoid that at all costs you may be okay.
Personally I think it is the devil and should be burned whenever encountered.

Well I took those few pieces out of the cube.....I saw some white tips and a yellow spot...LOL....and decided I did not want to take any chances
The brown got bad...I am getting some snails tomorrow, so I figure I will toss a few nass in

QUESTION?????
I used almost 30lbs dead aragonite.....and added 1 1/2 cups live from my tanks....10 days ago....got a few pieces of LR with some zoas and shrooms and kenya in the tank
sand is brown.....I have 2 astrea snails, and I tossed in some blue legged hermits from my other tank...I received an order today containing 2 fancy (large) nassarius, 10 teeny (regular) nassarius, 20 astrea, a tiger conch...
WHAT should I put in the 28G to eat the brown???? I do not want to add too much cuc and have it starve. OHHHH I AM FEEDING the tank because it is temporarily holding 3 fish (2 clowns and a striped damsel)

I would add the 10 teeny (regular) nassarius, house the 20 astrea,in another tank until you have more rock in there and a tiger conch and 2 fancy (large) nassarius somewhere else since you dont have much in the sand bed for it to eat....
I use more Nerite Snails then Astrea.

I have nerites all throughout the other tanks.....I can steal some

I agree, 10 nassarius or so to start with the hermits and the tiger conch. I'd also add 2 or 3 Astrae snails. If you have nowhere else to put them, dump them all in, I don't think they'll starve, you're feeding the tank.

I would temporarily to help with diatoms, I think they eat then, right? Since there isn't much in there, you'll be able to observe and make adjustments if there is too much or too little in there.

I have added more "cleaned" rock.....I think you will see why I have worked so hard to save it....Just look at the colors...remember...THIS IS NOT aquascaped....only holding it in there until I'm done with the rest....ALSO, the 2 clowns and damsel have gone to the notsolfs....so there are no fish.....Since I have cuc and corals, I will add a small amount of food here and there....I'm not gonna add the firefish and 2 gobies until I aquascape it OH YEAH....I also got the aquaticlife Internal Mini Skimmer 115, BUT I am trying it out in the 29G right now :)

Hey meowzer, how are you doing, looking good i am really impressed how your emeralds cleaned your rock. I am going to have to get a few more I think.

Doing good thanks.....I also was very surprised they cleaned it so fast.....BUT I did not feed them....so they musta been hungry.....LOL....AT this rate, I am thinking ALL the rock will be "clean" within 2 weeks.....then I can aquascape the 28G and re-aquscape the 54G
Some of this rock is kinda big though, so we may break a few pieces.....like I said earlier....once I get it all layed out, I can re-examine it all....Could have horses in a month at this rate
OR NOT....I want to take my time HAHA
