You mean two for the sh tank...or one for the sh tank and one for the reef?
What do you mean your's went downhill? Is that because of the lack of flow, light, or otherwise? If I see a problem with it being in my sh tank, I can just keep it where it is...it didn't even display the polyps in the store, from what I was told...took half an hour in my tank and BOOM!! There they were...
Thanks!!

cool, from the lack of light i think...
for future info: if anyone ever keeps these guys and need to do baby brine shrimp...ALWAYS be careful of your bulbs---i was taking water to the hatchery and took it over the lamp, and there are little holes for the vents and BOOM, light bulb gone...lesson learned

i was reading on seahorse.org, and it said sh owners should decapsulate their brine. do you do this? if so, how do you do it?
also, do sea horses require any special lighting?
thanks

any small filter will work as long as you make sure you COVER THE INTAKE...i think the azoo palm filters people love...i just used a normal HOB filter, and as you can see i covered it to make sure the babies and adults can not get stuck to the intake...failed a couple times with a smaller one

they came in two small bags that had probably 3-4 cups of water in each, then 6 seahorses with a little item to hitch onto...then i a box packed tight and heat pack...by the time i got mine home from work i had about 7 extra babies or so
