No problem there... if everyone on this board had just sharks and rays, I'd be the most helpful person around, (unless all the posts were about tank size
).
And you mods have to admit... aside from a few minor run-ins with Darth, KJR and occasionally Ru, I'm pretty well behaved. More often then not, I'm the peacemaker in the arguiing threads, (at least that's the way I see it
).
So go into your little "mod forum" and talk about whether it's time to bring on some new blood. In the meantime, I'll be shaking hands and kissing babies...

Just to clarify, my comments were generally speaking, and not targeted toward anyone in the forums, or anyone who spends most of their time in the Aquarium.
I have made these same comments before in other topics that have popped up over the years when members are advocating for new mods.
Historically, mods have been picked because they are overall good contributers to the forums that relate to what SWF.com is about, and that is the marine hobby. The Aquarium is just an off-topic forum available to members; it does not have much relevance to what SWF is about, except that it provides a social outlet for our members to communicate about other topics not related to fish tanks.
IMHO, picking as mod who is basically an Aquarium-only member, or primarily an Aquarium-only member isn't exactly fair to those who have been here for years actively participating and helping out in the hobby forums.
Again, my comments are not directed at anyone specifically, but just a history of how mods are picked, and my own opinion.
There is nothing wrong if you want to spend most of your time in the Aquarium. It is here for our members use.
BTW: Do you think the only fish I have ever had are diseased? Just because you have a specialty doesn't mean that you're limited in the forums.

Crimzy, be careful what you ask for, you may get it!

Do I have to explain again how T316 is qualified, in fact may I say OVER qualified, to be a mod?

Moderators are for people who have shown themselves to know the rules well, and seldom, if at all, break them.

It also won't hurt if current moderators did have to constantly moderate you.
