BURRITO.....I have no clue why your elbow will not turn....all I did was reach in to mine and turn it up......NO TOOLS...Did NOT HAVE to unplug...UNHOOK....or anything like that...it SHOULD NOT be that tight

o.o i cant change it thought D: the outtake tube might cuase a leak when i open the nut -.- water leak out on carpet im dead.... and okay i do not need a sponge :3 but nothing will be in it? ._. do i need the blue thing? and should i get a few bio balls? :3

forget it.....turing the elbow will not cause any issues.....so whatever

The blue stuff id just for some extra filtration...its not nessisary.
Also, couldnt you just unplug it and wait for the water level to go down and work on unscrewing it to loosen the elbow?

Thats a powerhead, not a wave maker. Wave makers use powerheads to create random currents. The korolia brand is a good brand, but that is small for a 60g, that model is used more for nano tanks. Like in my 29g tank i have a korolia 1, which i think is 400gph (gallons per hour) and that doesnt make that strong of a current. Im not sure what size you should get, do you may want to ask some other people.

oh, well korolia is a great brand, im just not sure what size korolia you should get (if you do get one, i would get two and put one on each side of your tank for better flow)

I super glued the impeller pieces together and now its running silently. How long do you think i have until the glue gives?

LOL....no telling....I would order another one....as a matter of fact...I think the whole pump was only a few bucks more...so might as well get it

Im thinking about going with the accela instead of the rio 600 that i have right now, are those pretty much the same?

The accela came with my bakpak....I like it....When needed I bought another....If I remember correctly when I researched the replacement, the Accela was recommended more

k when i got home i found out that my skimmer overflowed cuasing it to leak down to the apartment and it was becuase of the sponge like you say meowzer parent dont care unless you say I TOLD YOU SO!!!! lol so ya and it was all becuase of the sponge i wanted to get it out and replace it with the Bio thingys but he say no so ya it his fault
