New skimmer help

oh ok there is now nothing in it lol but my dad is upset ._. (that what he gets >:D!!!!) lol and meowzer doe the CPR Bak-Pak 2 work good? im starting to hate it :/

YES...it does work good....I hated it until I figured out how to get rid of the bubbles (RAISE ELBOW)....remember the pics.....
You will like it once you get the "kinks" worked out......do not put sponges or anything else where they can restrict flow.....sponges will also clog up from debris

Ive read the entire thread..... and I'm getting something out of it that seems to be pretty consistant............

Turn the elbow UP!
Just reach over there right now and turn the elbow so its facing upwards. it is not hard, you do not need your dad, dare i say you don't even need to let your dad know what you've done, just reach over there and turn in so it looks like meowzers in her pictures she posted.
Until you do that we really can't help you further.

yes sir :[ i dnt need my dad but hejust concern about me draining water al over the floor when i unnut it and i dont have the elbow part on yet

What do you mean you don't have it on yet?????? How the heck are you running the skimmer w/o the output part

Do you have a camera? Can you take a picture of your EXACT skimmer set up??????

sure o_O i didnt put it on becuase i got the useless bubble trap on o.e lol (i didnt know about all of this ^^ before)

no it dont. it dont fit D: i try to put it on with the elbow and it didnt fit o_O and i do have the elbow and here is the picture

move that stuff off your tank.....I need to see the elbow....and the bubble trap is supposed to fit REALLY tight over the elbow...cause that is what holds it on....but that really does not matter
What is wrong with your water.....it looks awful

ok, so from what I understand your skimmer looks something like this one in this picture.... I don't have this skimmer, i'm only assuming, but where the yellow circle is probably twists back and forth, left and right and the fitting where the red circle is twists left and right. So to make that bottom elbow face upward you need to twist at the yellow circled section one way or the other and then twist the red circled elbow to point the same direction.
Does this sound right meowzer?
And Burrito, is this what yours looks like? same elbows and all?

thats a bunch of fish to have in a 55/60 g tank I'm counting 10 just in that picture

it a 60 gallon .... 5 gallon got drained by the skimmer.... and
yes it all the same just different pump i already know that is the CPR Bak-Pak Skimmer 2+ lol mine is CPR Bak-Pak Skimmer 2

ok, i wasnt suggesting that it wasnt your skimmer, just showing you what elbows we are talking about so we are all on the same page.
So does your have the same exact tubing coming out just like that? or is the bottom elbow not on there?

it comes with the elbow but i didnt know i need it so i put it in the box lol i still have it i just didnt know i had to have it on until now
