Thanks Gemmy - tomorrow night after work I hope to get the counter on then I can start filling the tank and running it, I decided to stay with the Planted tank I already bought a lot of mowpani driftwood and Flourish agregate. I pretty sure I spelt both of those wrong.

What happened to the sea horses??????????? I planned on living my sea horse dream through you! Oh well, I like planted tanks as well. When I move, I may start one after I upgrade my tank.

I know - very scattered brain these days, i travel a lot and i am a bit worried about feeding horses three times a day. I tell you what though that thread Nissan has going is awesome i am picturing a 24 X 24 X 30 high horse tank with the SW overflowing the sides. and also i really want to get my 65 gallon reef converted to a sump/fuge. Have to take a few steps back sometimes. Stay tuned

That looks like it will do the trick, Al. Good stuff! What kind of lighting will go on this system?

That was a great idea Corey - I am going to use T5HO - we have a hydroponics store close to here that sells these great T5HO lights they are called Sun Blasters - I have a few of them on some other tanks they seem to work OK.

Looks clean, Al! Did you just prime it? Any plans for paint?
Thanks guys, i am going to paint it tomorrow - melamine paint - hopefully water in it by sunday. I have to say that I am still torn between SW and FW - I look at my reef tank and I think it looks so beautiful, a FOWLR would be great - I am just torn. Did you check out the crack acrylic sump thread?

Did some more set up - taking a break - man I don't no how plumbers do this every day, back breaking work. Added a cute picture of the dogs as well.

The plumbing looks real nice. I like how you planned the relief line into the sump and incorporated some flex hose in there. That should cut down on vibration quite a bit. The dogs look pretty eager for presents.

Shawn, this was a section of ductwork from my work, they have 1-1/2" flanges on the ends, I routed an opening on the top and sealed the ends to the flanges. Another thing I did since I am going with CO2 gas I wanted to make sure that the return line and drains lines were sealed to the sump so I can put a cover on the sump. Also the DT tank will have glass on top to seal for prevention of off gasing of CO2. Also there is a bypass where I am thinking of inject the CO2.
