They are ok, probably won't get very big. I got a few that were hitchhikers. One of them was actually about 2.5 inches but I only saw him once late at night. Here was the pic of mine...
As for salt mix, I use tropic marin pro reef, and really like it. Everybody has their preference I think.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0.25
Nitrate 20
Specific Gravity 1.023
Calcium 23 drops and 460ppm
Kh 12 drops 214.8
Tank has been cycleing for 17 days. How does it look
Also my mini britle starfish is only about a half inch only i have seen him twice.

I am still looking to find out what my other hitchicker is, it is to small to take a pic of it to post. It is on my cultred LR that i got from my lfs. It looks clear like selicone is and has tenticals with light blue dots on the end of each tentical. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be.

K1's are sweet huh? when i added mine at 1st i thought they didnt do anything. later on i realized they are awesome. I too plan on adding another .

Yea thats what i thought too, when i added it but i love it. I might get the Korila 2 and put in instead of a korila 1. I aslo have a aqua clear 30 powerhead in there i have that up high on the tank to move the water around the surface, and the korila 1 in the side of the tank for the middle right know. When i get the korila 2 i am going to put it on the left side of the tank lower to the sandbed and face it up a little bit.

I am making a list for my 55 gal that i am going to set up in a couple weeks of what i need. I was thinking of a sump for it or something like that. I dont know to much about them, what would u guys use. How do they work? How do u hook them up? Also what do i need for a sump, what parts etc............ I have never used one and was wanting to for my 55 gal.
