Crab id's are difficult. Did you add a refugium to your tank? That may be a good place for him.(If you can catch him)
Not sure if he will live, it depends upon how hard your ammonia and nitrites spike during your cycle.
um no... but i think i might turn the topfin 30 i have into one, since all it has is the sponge and the carbon in it, not really a filter i guess... and i didnt get the best look at him but i think his claws were round an both where the same size.., yeah i have heard of them eating anything if not fed, Well hope they dont spike too much, but then again i just started,

I dont have a door... and its in the like entrance to our house haha

Little ones and fish tanks is a recipe for disaster. I don’t let my little grandkids near my tank..it isn’t a joke..you need to cover the tank. Also lock up the test kits and all fish tank chemical stuff, they can be deadly if the baby gets a hold of them.

yeah the chemicals are somewhere he cant reach, and i dont think he will throw things in there for a while or at All no more since it was my dads fault! he fell asleep but yeah will work on a cover, im not sure if you guys can tell but i dont have any space on the back of the tank to put the filter so im going to try to get a stand, and i might trade rooms with my little bros play room, which has a door

Hey i have a question, Is there like a see through coral thing? i have one and the reason i say coral thing is because so far i know nothing about corals, im still learning on fish!
but speaking about fish, i might get fish first until i get money for the lighting, (i know its early but just ideas)
I would like one or two black and white clowns, and a blenny or two, is that ok? i really like the lawnmowers (or something like that a youtuber told me it was called) and the watchgaurd (or close since i saw it at the not so lfs) or maybe just bleenys? Im not too sure on aggresion with the blenys though, i know clowns wont fight one another much or at all

question what is the difference between reef safe and coral safe?

Coral safe means the critter in question can be around coral and won't bother it.
Reef safe means the critter in question is safe around coral, sponges and inverts, anything found in a reef.

so can you also tell me what the thing in my tank is? i know its alive, it opens and closes like a coral thing haha i dont know what to call it not to familiar with corals or anything besides setup and some fishes, its tentacles are like clear and see through, with white tips, and has a mouth i guess and the center has some white lines and sorta orangy but it can be the rock, its small i think i took a pic of it but not fully open, will try to get a better picture

The picture is bad, I can't see it.
Google "aiptasia pictures" and compare, what you discribe could be that or a harmless fan worm. Both come on live rock.

It is very hard to tell from that pic, BUT if it has little tentacles, it may be a strawberry anemone (cornyactis).....they are fine....google that
