I'm getting ready to order new T5HO bulbs for my 29G....I am going to go with the ATI too...
I can not find the thread BUT I think I was gonna get 2 ATI Blue plus....and I can't remember the other 2 HELPPPP

if you already have fiji purple, no need for pro color. you'll like the effect of fiji pruple way more than pro color, besides theyre discontinuing pro color

i think this coloration is really nice. i dont know if its too blue for you guys but i think its really nice

this would be 3 blue+, 1 fiji purple
if you wanted a bit more white in it, i would do 2 blue+, 1 aquascience duo (17500k) and 1 fiji purple. you need a lot of blue to keep the purple/pink hue the fiji purple creates
meowzer, remember to stagger your bulbs, place new ones in every 10 days. you'll melt away alot of the soft corals by putting them in all at once

REALLY...I didn't know that about staggering them....I am going from the bulbs that came with the Sundial light to WHATEVER...LOL
I don't like too much blue, (in my 225G I have MH Phoenix 14K) I like that look a lot....
What is an Aquascience???? I do not see that in my bulb supplier page

yes, not staggering them will kill alot of stuff and cause bleaching on some stuff. the stock current bulbs are probably close to HALF the par of the new bulbs you will be putting in. thats a big increase in one day for corals. if you dont like too much blue, i suggest 2 ATI blue+, 1 ATI aquablue special, and 1 aquascience duo or 15000k. if you wanna keep it simple you can do 2 ati blue+, 2 ati aquablue special
aquascience is another german brand that creates really nice bulbs. you can get them from premium aquatics
this is what 2 ati blue+ and 2 aquablue specials do

2 blue+, 1 aquascience 22000k, 1 ati aquablue special

oh and fixed the posts, i put the wrong pictures lol, i know the colors seem washed out but i can guarantee that its not. for example, the orange acan on the bottom actually looks like this

So you would put the 2 blue+ on the outside, and the other 2 bulbs in the center???
Those acans are BEAUTIFUL How the heck did you get that picture on there? All we seem to be able to get are those thumbnails

depending on your set up the i would put the bulbs alternating with blue+ ALWAYS in the front

well i had to buy the pro color cause the fiji purple was on back order.

I would do it like this

that would make the white up front not so dominant therefore creating a blue tint
