So remember the baby toxic lava? I'm not 100% sure what happened.......
 
It closed up and shrunk in size and it won't open and doesn't look like it even can open anymore...
 
The only thing I can think of is that I tried to feed one of the babies after they opened and may have been too much nutrition for a small coral....so next time a baby pops out, I won't feed it.

these buggers should probably be fed once a week only. mine still have skin but wont open, hoping that the 2 polyps make it. damn amphipods. im starting to get everything back in check. after a hectic month, i hope to bounce back from bleaching, rtn, and browning. ridiculously annoyed. i'm really happy with the ati sunpower 6x24w fixture. next upgrade, skimmer

I've had a couple issues in mine. I think a mushroom stung one of my chalice corals because there was some skeleton showing...which sucks because it is a watermelon and was looking AMAZING. Now that I moved it from the mushroom it's been doing well.
 
Lost the baby Toxic Lava but the other two are doing great.....
 
well that's it for the "bad"....the rest of my coral are going nuts..I gotta get in there and frag but I have been so busy.

heh, i dont like to bug the corals while they grow, ill take a pic tomorrow when the lights are on. i'm running them at only 4 hours for now due the strength of them

i am pretty good at photoshop. ill try to take some pics tomorrow. havent been feeling well. i was so afraid for my tank today. a tornado touched down about a mile away from us today and was afraid that the power was gonna go

I love this tank :) And I love this nano forum. Why do I even go in the aquarium section? It just makes my blood boil haha but yet I am still drawn to it. My goal for the rest of the year is to not go in there anymore and just learn a crap ton from you awesome people in here. Ok who wants to explain jellyfish mating rituals?

its probably because of the way the water looks inside the tank, mustve been the angle. heres some pics when i was mocking it up
