Change you can beleive in

" It was reported that just two months after he joined the Senate, Obama purchased $50,000 worth of stock in speculative companies whose major investors were his biggest campaign contributors. One of the companies was a biotech concern that benefited from legislation Obama pushed just two weeks after the senator purchased $5,000 of the company’s shares. Obama was also nabbed conducting campaign business in his Senate office, a violation of federal law."

More change you can believe in.....
Obama's relationship between mob-linked banker Alexi Giannoulias has Obama being the mentor. As the New York Post reported on September 5, 2007:
A man who has long been dogged by charges that the bank his family owns helped finance a Chicago crime figure will host a Windy City fund-raiser tonight for Sen. Barack Obama.
Alexi Giannoulias, who became Illinois state treasurer last year after Obama vouched for him, has pledged to raise $100,000 for the senator's Oval Office bid.
Before he promised to raise funds for Obama, Giannoulias bankrolled Michael "Jaws" Giorango, a Chicagoan twice convicted of bookmaking and promoting prostitution.
Giannoulias is so tainted by reputed mob links that several top Illinois Dems, including the state's speaker of the House and party chairman, refused to endorse him even after he won the Democratic nomination with Obama's help.
Giannoulias was the bank's vice president and chief loan officer for most of the more than $15 million in loans.
He was not charged with breaking any laws. The Obama campaign disputed any suggestion that Obama is tarnished by the association.
"Barack Obama has a long record of fighting for ethics reform from his days as a state senator," a campaign rep said.
The voters in Illinois don't seem to mind Mob tainted politicians but is the rest of the country ready for that?
Recently,Barack Obama brought in convicted felon Robert Creamer to teach young, idealistic Obama supporters. Here's Tom Roeser on the Obama-Creamer operation:
Robert Creamer, the husband of U. S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill) who was sentenced to jail for running a community group and paying himself big bucks while banks held the bag, has been teaching a group of young (mostly) volunteers for the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, I am exclusively revealing today.
Nothing wrong with Creamer earning a living. Indeed not long ago he surfaced as a registered lobbyist working against the Senate confirmation of UN ambassador John Bolton, paid by the George Soros-funded “Open Society Policy Center.” But the idea of a convicted felon who kited checks lecturing the supposedly idealistic Obama campaign on how to raise money and get elected is a bit much.
Creamer taught at “Camp Obama,” a week-long summer camp last month held at the presidential candidate’s office in Chicago for campaign interns and volunteers-just a few blocks away from the federal court where on August 31, 2005 he pleaded guilty to charges of bank fraud and failure to pay federal taxes…on charges brought by U. S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. He admitted in his 18-page signed plea agreement that he wrote checks on accounts that lacked funds and did so repeatedly as he moved money from one account to another in three banks. He had a multiple group of organizations that received money, the best known being the “Illinois Public Action Council” a left-wing group on which his wife, Jan Schakowsky, was a board member while the manipulating was going on. She was already in Congress when he pleaded guilty; she was not charged.

Rylan....please do some research before you make statements like old Washington is corrupt and it is time for change. Or, all Obama did was work 4 hours for Rezko, etc. Mr Hope and Change is as corrupt as they come...and his partners in crime also corrupt.
I have stated there are things about McCain I do not like.
Your candidate may end up being the only presidential candidate named in a corruption case...so be careful when you start tossing stones.

More lies from Mr Change You Can believe in.....
Obama seems to be less than honest about his dealings with Rezko. As Media Matters busts Obama on his Rezko denials:
On June 13, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), while serving as an Illinois state senator in 1998, "did a political favor" for Chicago Democratic fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko by writing letters to state and local government officials in support of a Chicago housing project proposed by Rezko's company, New Kenwood LLC. The Sun-Times asserted that the "letters appear to contradict a statement last December from Obama, who told the Chicago Tribune that, in all the years he's known Rezko, 'I've never done any favors for him.' '' In reporting on this story, however, several media outlets omitted statements included in the Sun-Times article that challenge the paper's assertion that Obama performed a "favor" for Rezko -- specifically, Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton's claim that "I don't know that anyone specifically asked him to write this letter," and Rezko's attorney's claim that Rezko "never spoke with, nor sought a letter from, Senator Obama in connection with that project."
In October 2006, Rezko was indicted on charges that he "used his influence as one of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's closest advisers and fundraisers to seek millions of dollars in kickbacks and campaign donations from firms seeking state business," according to the Chicago Tribune.
From the June 13 Sun-Times article, headlined "Obama's letters for Rezko":
As a state senator, Barack Obama wrote letters to city and state officials supporting his political patron Tony Rezko's successful bid to get more than $14 million from taxpayers to build apartments for senior citizens.
The deal included $855,000 in development fees for Rezko and his partner, Allison S. Davis, Obama's former boss, according to records from the project, which was four blocks outside Obama's state Senate district.
Obama's letters, written nearly nine years ago, for the first time show the Democratic presidential hopeful did a political favor for Rezko -- a longtime friend, campaign fund-raiser and client of the law firm where Obama worked -- who was indicted last fall on federal charges that accuse him of demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state business under Gov. Blagojevich.

Wow, Scuba.. Nice job.
Since you are all over this. Do some digging and see who is prosecuting this.
Hillary seems to be almost "giving up" here in Texas (A dallas motorcycle police officer having a wreck and dying while escorting her convoy didn't help a whole lot either...) but she seemed to be backing down at the debate the other night, and seems to be once again trying to put on a display of being "Mrs. Nice".
I don't believe for 1 second she's going to call off her hellhounds and give up her shot at being President so i'm just curious if she is possibly getting some inside info on Obama making her believe he's about to get taken down; Allowing her to step in and play the role of hesitant yet defacto nominee. She's up to something; When your enemies start smiling at you it's time to put your back to the wall, and Hillary has been smiling a lot for a few days.

Obama supports and campaigned for this guy.....and also contrbuted $
Bernie Sanders said in a telephone interview, "I will be running as an independent. But if you're asking my philosophy, yes, I am a Democratic Socialist."
Sanders explains that he considers himself a socialist rather than a liberal because, "I approach politics primarily through economic perspectives. My major concern right now is that we have the most unfair distribution of wealth and income of any major country on earth (and an) equally unfair distribution of political power. I want to see that change. I want to see a more egalitarian society."

Patrick Fitzgerald...same guy for Libby.
Yep, trial is scheduled to start Mon.....perhaps Obama will be named and it could be a bad week for Mr Hope and Change and Mr Non-Corrupt.
The media will probably ask CLinton questions about the trial and that will open the door. Perhaps that explains her approach recently knowing the trial was set to start on Monday.

I'm a little tired of hearing how Obama is "Mr Clean".

Still more Change you can believe in......
Obama could run into further difficulties over his relationship with William Ayers, a professor of education at the University of Illinois and former member of the Weather Underground, a leftwing terrorist group that planted bombs in the Capitol and the Pentagon in the 1970s.
Ayers told The New York Times on the day of the September 11 attacks: “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.” It emerged last week that Ayers served with Obama on the board of the Woods Fund, an antipoverty group, from 1999 to 2002, and donated $200 towards his Illinois state Senate campaign in 2001

The issue is far larger than simply capturing bin laden, and focusing on such things would only be a sneeze in solving the actual issue. Years ago, yes. that would be a solution. Today, it is much deeper, and he is more of a ghost, simply to lay blame on, not actually put an end to it.

More Hope from Obama for America...
Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008
In his biography of Barack Obama, David Mendell writes about Obama's life as a "secret smoker" and how he "went to great lengths to conceal the habit." But what about Obama's secret political life? It turns out that Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist.
In his books, Obama admits attending "socialist conferences" and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a "hard-core academic Marxist," which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
Trevor Loudon, a New Zealand-based libertarian activist, researcher and blogger, noted evidence that "Frank" was Frank Marshall Davis in a posting in March of 2007.
Obama's communist connection adds to mounting public concern about a candidate who has come out of virtually nowhere, with a brief U.S. Senate legislative record, to become the Democratic Party frontrunner for the U.S. presidency. In the latest Real Clear Politics poll average, Obama beats Republican John McCain by almost four percentage points.
AIM recently disclosed that Obama has well-documented socialist connections, which help explain why he sponsored a "Global Poverty Act" designed to send hundreds of billions of dollars of U.S. foreign aid to the rest of the world, in order to meet U.N. demands. The bill has passed the House and a Senate committee, and awaits full Senate action.
But the Communist Party connection through Davis is even more ominous. Decades ago, the CPUSA had tens of thousands of members, some of them covert agents who had penetrated the U.S. Government. It received secret subsidies from the old Soviet Union.

Obama campaign: Mum's the word!
Refuses to respond to drug accusations

© 2008 WorldNetDaily
WASHINGTON – For the second day in a row, the Barack Obama campaign has refused to respond to requests for comment on a Minnesota man's allegations he shared cocaine with Obama in 1999, when the man who now is a contender for the Democratic nomination for president was a state lawmaker in Illinois.
Yesterday, the campaign declined to respond to telephone calls. Today, the campaign's "Communications Team" acknowledged receiving an e-mail request from WND but did not answer the questions about the allegations.
"Thank you so much for your interview request," said the automatic response. "It is now in our system and our communications team will follow-up with you when we have a better idea of your request's status. We understand the difficulties a delay in response may cause and certainly appreciate your patience," the Obama campaign e-mail said.
"We will touch base with you as soon as we have an update," it continued.
It was signed "Communications Team Obama for America."
WND has reported on claims made by Larry Sinclair, of Minnesota, who alleges he took cocaine in 1999 with Obama, and participated in homosexual acts with him.
Sinclair said his story was ignored by the news media, so he made his case last month in a YouTube video, which has now been viewed about 350,000 times.
When it still was ignored, Sinclair said, he filled a lawsuit in Minnesota District Court, alleging threats and intimidation by Obama's staff.
Sinclair, who says he is willing to submit to a polygraph test to validate his claims, will now get his chance – thanks to a website offering $10,000 for the right to record it and $100,000 to Sinclair if he passes.
"My motivation for making this public is my desire for a presidential candidate to be honest," Sinclair told WND by telephone. "I didn't want the --- thing to come out. But I think it is important for the candidate to be honest about his drug use as late as 1999."
Sinclair, who lives in Duluth and describes himself as "gay," claims he "personally engaged in sexual activity and personally used illegal drugs in November 1999" with the man who is now the leading Democratic presidential candidate. He claims the activity took place in the back of Sinclair's limousine and occurred again, later, in his hotel. Sinclair also says he personally no longer uses drugs.
In his lawsuit, filed last week, he charges his civil rights have been violated by Obama and the Democratic Party. Named as defendants in the case are the presidential candidate, David Axelrod of AKP Message and Media in Chicago and the Democratic National Committee.
Sinclair charges Obama smoked crack cocaine in the limo while Sinclair snorted powdered cocaine provided by the legislator. He says the two met in an upscale Chicago lounge before leaving in Sinclair's limousine where the drug use and --- took place for the first time.
Sinclair says he is a registered Democrat but has never voted for any candidate. He is 46 and claims to be physically disabled.
He says he was not physically impaired in 1999 when the alleged incidents with Obama took place.

Okay.
might not be a good week for Obama though...the guy who accused Obama of smoking crack takes his polygraph test on 2/26..and the Rezko trial starts 2/25.

I'm amazed how Obama continues to get a pass on all these issues regarding his racist church, relationships with known criminals, socialist and communist backgrounds, corruption, lies etc, etc.
I heard a term used regarding many of Obama's supporters last week. I do not recall the individual who said it on TV...but he called them political illiterates. He further expalined that his followers simply or not thinking past the Hope/Change mantra.
I'm beginning to understand what he meant by political illiterates. I thought it to be a rather harsh statement but Obama is not what he is holding himself out to be to America.
There is just too much contradiction in the record for him to claim to be a "new" direction.
Let's see what happens next week if the positive coverage starts going negative given the trial, etc.
I acutaully don't place too much weight on the other story as of yet. But it is sourced..as the man has accused Obama and also filed a lawsuit. Does not really mean a thing YET...could just be a nut job...but you never know. There is enough documented contradiction in the record now regarding Obama so I'd not be too quick to dismiss it as of yet.
However, if an Obama follower is going to site the NY times article as gospel then I'm going to at least post what's out there for Obama...regarding a possible scandal brewing.
AS I have stated...I'm tired of all this MR Change and Hope mantra.....too much info on the record contradicting the message being chanted.
Stay tuned

Agreed. Voting with your party 96% of the time and not championing any new legislation, is not the record of a candidate for change.
Heck, based on voting records McCain is the candidate of change. Hehe, wouldn't that be a great McCain Commercial: "I'm the real candidate of Change"...

Obama...Button Pushin 101...let's hope if he is elected president he does not push the "worng button by accident" in a time of crisis
By Peter Wallsten, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
January 24, 2008
Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago's West Side. But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.
"I was not aware that I had voted no," he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he "intended to vote yes."
That was not the only misfire for the former civil rights attorney first elected to the state Senate in 1996. During his eight years in state office, Obama cast more than 4,000 votes. Of those, according to transcripts of the proceedings in Springfield, he hit the wrong button at least six times.
On March 19, 1997, he announced he had fumbled an election-reform vote the day before, on a measure that passed 51 to 6: "I was trying to vote yes on this, and I was recorded as a no," he said. The next day, he acknowledged voting "present" on a key telecommunications vote.
He stood on March 11, 1999, to take back his vote against legislation to end good-behavior credits for certain felons in county jails. "I pressed the wrong button on that," he said.
Obama was the lone dissenter on Feb. 24, 2000, against 57 yeas for a ban on human cloning. "I pressed the wrong button by accident," he said.
But two of Obama's bumbles came on more-sensitive topics. On Nov. 14, 1997, he backed legislation to permit riverboat casinos to operate even when the boats were dockside.
The measure, pushed by the gambling industry and fought by church groups whose support Obama was seeking, passed with two "yeas" to spare -- including Obama's. Moments after its passage he rose to say, "I'd like to be recorded as a no vote," explaining that he had mistakenly voted for it.
Obama would later develop a reputation as a critic of the gambling industry, and he voted against a similar measure two years later. But he was clearly confused about how to handle the issue at the time of his first vote, telling a church group on a 1998 campaign questionnaire that he was "undecided" about whether he backed an expansion of riverboat gambling. And, months earlier, he had voted in favor of a version of the bill.
The senator who led the opposition to the gambling measure, Republican Todd Sieben, said he took Obama at his word that the initial vote was an error. But Sieben also said the thin margin of victory was a sign that perhaps there was more to the vote than met the eye. "He was obviously paying attention to this vote. It was a major, major issue in the state, and it was a long debate," Sieben said. "The inadvertent 'Oops, I missed the switch' -- I'd be kind of skeptical of that."
On June 11, 2002, Obama's vote sparked a confrontation after he joined Republicans to block Democrats trying to override a veto by GOP Gov. George Ryan of a $2-million allotment for the west Chicago child welfare office.
Shortly afterward, Obama chastised Republicans for their "sanctimony" in claiming that only they had the mettle to make tough choices in a tight budget year. And he called for "responsible budgeting."
A fellow Democrat suddenly seethed with anger. "You got a lot of nerve to talk about being responsible," said Sen. Rickey Hendon, accusing Obama of voting to close the child welfare office.
Obama replied right away. "I understand Sen. Hendon's anger. . . . I was not aware that I had voted no on that last -- last piece of legislation," he said.
Hendon declined to discuss the episode. "I try to block out unpleasant memories," said Hendon. ...........................
Hendon said "it happens" that senators press the wrong button. But he was quick to add: "I've never done it."

Obama is a fake and fraud. He most likely will only get about 40% of the vote if he makes it to the general. America will not stand on the far, far left with the moveon.orgers. He is getting a pass so far since he is up against fellow left wingers.....but that will come to an end in the general. I predict MANY moderate democrats will vote for McCain should Obama be in the general.
I'm predicting it now......it will be an electoral college landslide for MCcain if Obama is in the general.
I've seen too much on the record now. I'd pretty much ignored the Tap Dancer candidate as I really thought Hillary was a lock and I knew exactly where she stood.
I did not know that much about Obama...but I know exactly where he stands now...FAR, FAR LEFT.

You are my hero scuba

Can you post a list of the links to all this info? It really helps when it comes to spreading the word. I am thinking about a website. I am by no means rich but I can afford an attorney to respond to the Obama campaigns strong arm tactics should it come to that. If someone would have told me a year ago that I would go to war to get McCain elected
