My son will be 12 in a few months. He knows who Mickey Mouse is, has no idea who Jos Camel is.....This whole thing was nothing more than propoganda. Surounding the tobaco industry.
It really amuses me when otherwise intelligent people buy into rhetoric. They hear something that sounds good, seems some logic in it, and then swear it's fact. Anybody can blurt out some dreamed up facts, tie them together in some simple yet logical manner and make it believable to masses. IMO, Obama is the epidemy of this. He's all rhetoric, people get all hyped up by what he says, but dont ever question what it means he's sayiong, why he's saying it or even how it could become a reality. KOOL-AID mustache on that guy for sure.

There is A LOT of misinformation that floats around. It is so important to get the info right, and, preferably from the "horse's mouth" Look beyond your personal bias and get the facts.

Well, here is the scoop, dt. This is a little complicated so I'll try to dumb it down so you can understand. There are groups of people pushing their own agendas. Anyone can make a website to promote their ideas. The Pro war gang wants to lower the numbers so we can get a feel good response to keep the war machine strong. The bad guys, the ones called "insurgents" want to inflate the numbers so we will want to leave.
I know it is hard to understand, Dt. Try watching real news maybe.

Back when that ad campaign was running I dont doubt a lot of kids knew who JC was, it was a cool ad campaign.

I didn't find the numbers you claimed for civilian casualties in the red cross link.
Guess I am to dumb.
Aren't you the same person complaining about personal attacks?
The bottomline is every site I have looked at none of the numbers match...some were as high as 300,000 and as low as 25,000.

Whitey is too blame for a lot of the problems in this country because it's the country white men have built. How long have blacks been able to vote, go to public schools or even feel they have an equal shot to get a professional job?

It's a much great issue when the majority has these feeling because they can oppress and hold down the given group of people....all you need to do is look at our history.

Wasn't a "dweeb" there were only about a dozen white kids in the 6th grade there. I was the easy mark. The school didnt do anything about it because it was "Off campus". Total cowardess on all parts. Hate filled kids with an agenda. they didnt want us in "their school", we didnt back down.

it was 6-7 million jews, that isn't counting blacks, homosexuals, gypsies, and whoever else Hilter went after. Add those folks in it brings it up to 12 million. Personally I"m all for stopping effin retards killing people in africa or in other places, but a certain party had made it political suicide for the other party to go in and try to fix stuff and "impose the American way". You know there is this organization that has primary jurisdiction to stop stuff like that, (UN) it is run libs, that is the door someone should be knocking on, in my mind.
