While I am sad that he is leaving because I am a Parcells fan, I think it is probably best for the Cowboys.
Hm, maybe Jerry Jones will use that money of his, create a time machine, and stop Sean Payton from leaving.

THANK GOD!!!!!!

Now we may not get outcoached EVERY single game!!!!!
Best news for the Cowboys in years!
JJ needs to give Cowher a blank check and tell him to fill in the amount, next choice would be Norm Chow then maybe even give Martz another chance. At least Martz could open up the offense and take advantage of the skill players we have rather than 3 yards and a cloud of dust like Parcells.

the media is saying: Singletary, Stoops could be at the top of the list... then there are atleast 15 others that would jump all over the oppertunity...

I am not a big Cowher fan. Two super bowl appearences and only one win in 15 years really does not show me much as far as a head coach.
I like your other two names you listed though, emmitt. I have always been a Martz fan, and I like Chow a lot too.

Yeah, Payton made some great adjustments yesterday in the second half against a severely depleted defense that most teams have taken advantage of lately. Wait, i forgot, every time they showed him after the Bush td he looked like a deer in headlights wondering what to do. For all the hype, Lovie outcoached Payton bigtime. They said all week they had new blitz packages and would run them at Brees but Payton couldnt adjust to them.
p.s.- dont joke, by the time the new stadium is done and he gets that revenue, JJ might have enough money to build a time machine

You better PRAY he doesnt! I would love for the rumors about him GM'ing the Giants to be true. Wouldnt have to worry about them anymore.
Parcells may make a bad team decent like his 1st year with us with all his rah-rah old school football but he cant make a good team great. He is too stuck in his ways and refuses to change despite every other team changing. He wants it his way but cant accept that his way doesnt work in this day and age.

i would like him to come here and screw up everything our team is embarasing. we just lost the best thing about our team and that was tomlin

If Parcells comes there be prepared for the huge line of washed up ex Cowboys, Jets, Pats and the sons of anyone that played for Parcells to come streaming in. For some reason, Parcells has it in his head that any of his ex players are better than ACTUAL good players that he could acquire/draft.

Guess this means that TO won the battle with Jerry.
Not that i'm a TO fan, but i'd rather have him than Parcells. TO might actually help us win some games.

Amazingly, I agree!

Parcells had a GREAT team in 86 that won it, a true superpower team. In 90, Parcells had a very good team but got lucky as hell with Roger Craig fumbling while running out the clock in the NFC championship and then the Norwood miss in the SB. 96 with the Pats was a great coaching job by Parcells and he had some good years with the Jets but i never understood why Parcells was considered a GOD among coaches. His record isnt amazing for sure, Just pretty good but his time has long passed and he is too stubborn too succeed now.
I doubt any Cowboy fans are too upset over this development.

have you seen our team now? we have brought in every ex eagle to put on the the philly uniform for at least 20 minutes. we just signed a TE that played 2 games in like 3 years at philly. childress is a joke worst coach ever. our only hope was that tomlin would stay and we d fire childress next year and tomlin would take over. but that worked out well thanks Pitts

You'd be surprised how quick things change. You guys have TWO sick defensive tackles to build around. When you have TWO guys like that on the d-line, its easy to build around them and make a great defense. On offense, you guys DESPERATELY need a QB. With a good qb, Minnesota could get good again quick.

tavaris will be good but not this coming year. what we need is people that can catch the ball, we have a guy who got cut, a guy who got tasered, and a guy who is affraid of the ball. thats not a good combination for wide recievers

I totally agree with the FIRST line !!! No Dallas will have to put up with T.O. outbursts and BS next year under another head coach. I guarantee he'll start up in pre-season and throughout the 2007 season.

IMO the Media will blow up TO's outbursts for lack of drama... they will need something to talk about... the new coaching changes will be boring after the first 10 minutes... and that 10 min will be for all 7 new coaches...
NEWS FLASH: TO uses a bidet instead of Quilted Northern... now thats gonna be atleast a 3 week media focus...
