Hmmm, maybe it's a seahorse thing..Kinda like "carrying your Bride over the threshhold" but in this case over the sea weed.
Can you post more pics of Apache's pouch?

Not so good. Zeus, the mother has died
and the little white one is hanging on by a thread. Titan, the father is the only one who seems to have fight left in him. Titan has weathered this whole terrible incident much better than any of the others.
I pray I can get him through all this. My new avatar is a picture of Titan.

Ryk, I read about the new discovery in your tank before getting to this post...how cool is that? I'm sorry you've had to lose so many of your little treasures, that's for sure...but to have them replenished again so soon is really wonderful!! Best of luck with them!! Keep me posted on how things go.

I did another 3 gallon water change in my sh tank last evening again. Poor Apache and Navajo...they think they're getting fed when I turn off the equipment. I'm trying to think of a way to take care of both tasks at the same time...I just don't think that's going to work though, LOL. Oh well, anyway. I did try to get pictures of my horses yesterday, but something happened in the downloading that wouldn't let me move, edit, nothing. I'll try again tomorrow.
We have Tyler, Beth, and Jonah coming over for supper tonight (American style lasagne...GREAT recipe)...Jonah gets to test drive his new high chair for his supper of rice cereal...

I just took some more pictures of my sh tank. I would like to comment on a couple of things. First of all, please note the absence of cyano...I'm VERY pleased about THAT!! Also, the colt coral has gotten huge and I'm trying to find out how to frag that little number to give some of it to Beth for her tank...I should just do it, I know. In the last picture of my second post here (I think), the picture of the clam notice the shell from the little bumblebee snail that we named Speedy (for those of you who were there when I first started out in this hobby)...he was my VERY first hitch hiker, and I still remember how excited I was to find him. He'll always be in one of my tanks.
Here are the pics, enjoy...

How's the brood today, Ryk?
Thanks for the very nice compliment...I'm always looking for new and different landscaping ideas. Have you made any progress on the 90? Let's see it!!

Thanks Alaina,
My seahorse tank is a 37gal tall. It is exclusively a seahorse tank at this point, and probably always will be. I'm hoping to find another nice pair of kudas, but I'm not in a huge hurry for that...especially with the possibility of Apache being pregnant, again I'm not sure that's the case yet.

It's a waste land....hmmm actually i should use this as an opportunity to let people know what a dead salt water tank looks like.

Very good. As with any fry there is always the sad part of nature, survival of the fittest. Two have perished, they were so tiny, I guess you could call them runts, poor little things. I counted five this morning, 2 hanging out in the "Lisa Nursery", 2 exploring, and one hanging out with Dad.
Boy, Titan was breathing hard last night...he looked as worn out as I felt when I had Aria!!!! I put in some NovAqua stress zyme. he's looking much better this morning.

How cool!! Are you thinking of NOT setting up your 90 and going with a couple of 45s? What's the plan?
