Great news about the aiptasia, lemon juice and shrimp!!!
Can't help on the catching of the damsel. Seems as though everyone gets one and then doesn't want it later. Oh well!

Yea, I knew and know, that they are the most returned fish in the hobbie. I also knew the reason. Before the remodle I had him in the 10 gallon tank. I took down the tank and put him in the cube when I had to move the tanks for the midigators to come in and do thier work. It just seemed eaiser to get rid of the 10 for a while. Now it is back up and running. Now I just have to catch him again.

It's too bad for the damsils. They are such a pretty fish. When I get my 75 (maybe an in wall) going, I have entertained the idea of a schol of damsils. Either yellow tails or blue damsils.

Have noted that some of the Chrysiptera sp. are less aggressive than other damsels. A nice school of Chrysiptera talboti would definitely be nice in a larger tank.

Be careful with adding lemon juice, especially in a small tank like your 29 gallon.
Reason being: Lemon juice is extremelty acidic and could have adverse affects on your PH level.
One of the clerks from the a LFS near by told me of a client's tank crashing when the client used lemon juice to kill aptaisia because the client "read it on the internet."
Im not saying lemon juice doesnt work, just be careful. It could crash your PH and Crash your tank.

Yes, the Talbot damsel would make for a nice shoal. I have been thinking of just one shoal and corals in my 75.

Yes, thanks for the tip. I have been only treating a few at a time. I plan on doing treatments once a week at water change time to help me keep the PH proper.

Here is the Candy cane during the day.

Here is another shot of my zoas.

Here is my red Chalice. I had issues with this one. Seems to be alright now.

Here is my other Chalice. I don't know the names of either one.

A shot of my polyps.

Here is my Sun coral.

Stay tuned.

Here is a shot of my female Harlequin.

Here is how you tell it is a female. The pleao pods or what ever they are called (the flippers they use to swim) are colored. The male is all white under the tail.

Here is my green Montipora. A top down shot.

This is my Blue ORA coral. The name IDK. Maybe echino? I think it too is a chalice.

I sure do like your tank, love your harlequins, I've wanted some since I first saw them on youtube, problem is I've wanted star fish healthy with all their limbs in my tank too haha.
Here's a question for you, do know if you can have large groups of harlequins? Or is it best to keep justed a mated pair?

Everything looks like it is doing well.
I sure hope so. I don't need any more problems with this tank right now. I am getting ready to switch brands of salt. I am going to try running the new Brightwell salt. I have read mixed reviews about it. Mostly, it would seem that people are talking about the Alk level of the salt being high. That and there is no way the salt is that accurate.

Thank you, I am glad you like it. I too enjoy your tank. I like all the crabs you have. I think it is really nice the way you did it.
Yea, about the only star fish that we hobbiest keep that they wont touch is a brittle star. They are too fast and they don't sit still for them when they attack.
I have read that some think the Harlequins are scard of the brittle stars.
I don't think it is a very good idea to keep more then one pair in the same tank. Unless the tank is very large or is divided. You could certainly do two pair, place one pair in the display and put the other pair in the refug. If you refug is done up with different types of macro algaes, kinda a lagoon setup. They would look pretty cool in a refug.
Here is some good reading on them. I have spoke with chuck and he is a very nice guy. I don't think he is on these boards but I know he is on the big site as well as another reef site I visit from time to time. Good Luck and stay dry. Let me know if you get a pair.

I know it isn't related to my nano but, I finnaly got my 75 re-drilled today. I learned the hard way to work with glass. I blew out the first set of holes pretty bad. So, today I decided to get busy and re-drill them. They came out pretty good. I went up one size hole and it almost took out all the mess from before. It should be just fine now. At least useable.

The wife is a dental assistant also. Though she is not a pediatric assistant. I can't tell you if they have been used on me or not. That nitrous gas is good stuff.
