I always had issues with the IO keeping my calcium up. It doesn't appear that you have that problem though. Looks like you have nice water.

Well I got the RO/Di unit mounted today. I will grab some more hose for it tomorrow. The ammount supplied wasn't enough due to the location I had to mount it at. I also got a dual in line TDS meter today while up at the shop to claim my prize. I mounted the TDS meter to the front of the RO/DI unit.
Maybe one day I will paint that wall in the garage.

looking good!

Thank you.
I got the RO/DI up and running. I let 3 gallons run and then dummped it out. I now have a full 5 gallon jug of RO/DI water.
My other jug is filling right now. I am getting a 86 TDS reading on the input water and big ol 0 on the output water.
I am now finally in the club of RO/DI water. I can check that possible cause off my list when it comes to the tank. I hope it makes a difference.

I may have skimmed over it, but what is the I.D on that spotted white animal on the first page that you called a "harlequin"?

That is my Harlequin shrimp. I have two, they are a pair. In that pice the male was off and about. They are pretty cool shrimp. Here is another shot of them when the tank was set up a little different.
Feeding time, they only eat star fish if you didn't already know.

Mine get a star about every three weeks. They are done faster then that, but I let them go for the third week. I can't wait to get a tank going with a sump again, so I can have several and just rotate through them. Each one will donate an arm to them. By the time I get back around the arm will have regenerated.

Well I mentioned it before in the thread, I want to get my yellow tail damsil out of my tank. I have tried one time before for a couple of hours. I have a 10 gallon tank that is cycled and ready for a resident fish.
Anybody have any ideas on how to catch the little guy without tearing down the tank? I don't have a fish trap. I could maybe make one if someone would post up some ideas and builds. Thanks.
Oh, a little FYI. It would appear that the lemon juice is a very good aiptasia killer. I think the trick is to use enough of it. After reading spanko's post, I just re-treaded today for the first time since the last time. About a week ago I think. Using more of the lemon juice increased the number of white and white stringy bodies. I am thinking that most aren't using enough of the lemon juice when treating.
I have also noticed some small ones pop up and then dissaper. So, the pepermint shrimp must be helping out.
