Are you asking why not get rid of the smaller ones???? I can do maintenance on them in a matter of minutes....I can reach just about everything on my own
..lol....as a matter of fact just made up 10g's of new sw for a w/c on both smaller tanks tomorrow...took 5 minutes....lol..

So, something usefull,
I thought I would mention that I am feeding my fish from a syring, so I can drop just one or two pieces of food into the water too keep the food eaten. So that the pepermint shrimp don't get any. I want them to get the aiptasia. I have the real deal, so they need to get busy.

I am going back up to the same store I bought them at tomorrow. I might buy a couple more if I see some.
When I was there last week it was thier anniversary(sp) sale. They had raffle prizes. I WON A PRIZE!!!
I put in for an Elos supplement kit. I got it.
Plus they just got the Bright Well aquatics salt line in. I want to try it out. Expensive, yes. Very. But I want to see if there is any difference in the expensive salt vs the cheaper stuff. Probly not but, if I don't try it I will never know for myself.

But I haven't used them. Right now I would recomend Sea Chem reef salt over the IO reef crystals. But I think something different then you. In the end it is about opinion, right? Every system is different due to the different stocking lists that they have. Giving the different demands to the aquarist. Do you dose anything in your tank?

NOPE.....At first I did, then I found this site..LOL....OH I have all kinds of stuff, essential elements, iodide, strontium & Molybdenum, reef complete with calcium, the big bottles too..LOL
I just try to keep regular on my water changes, and SO FAR (knocking on wood) it has been working
