... did you add a RO/DI system to your list... your really need to look into this unless you plain on buy the water from your LFS. If you do get it from you LFS you need to test the water before you add it to you tank. If it has any Nitrate/Phos. you can not use the water. this will give you Algae problems.

I'm planning on buying from the LFS, ill test it to check, but they use the same water (not the exact same water, just they make it the same way) for there reef tanks in the store

My IO bucket cost me $65 and last me ~4 months... Remember I do 10g a week water changes and I add 2 1/2g of freash RO/di for evaperation.

hehe yes it is cheaper $15 for a 50 gallon mix of Reef Crystals, ya thats what my mom says (that we have RO in the house already) I'll look into it. Is it easy to make your own water?

How many gallons should I change a week cause thats... 8% water changes your doing, so for my tank that would be only 3.2 gallons

well that depends on you Bio-load. I do 32% a month because I have a lot of fish... but at a min you should do 20% a month. so you should do... a min of 2g/w. I like to do weekly just becuase it keeps the water cleaner week by week. instead letting the water get shitty for a whole month

hmm crap, it says a canopy is recommended for him, I guess hes a jumper, but I wasn't planning on having a top, (heard glass can't take the heat, and it blocks some of the light out)

hey!!! are jawfish reef safe? I've always wanted one due to there awesome little digging behavior etc.. but could never find one. The one time I found one for $19.99 I put it in my 75 gallon and within 2 hours my porcupine has ate it, the porcupine died like a week after... maybe the jawfish isn't good food.

Wrasse's are very nice looking fish... all of them are. but some can be a real pain in the ass. and are near imposible to catch!!! so just be careful witch one you get.
