Probably the best way to term any Democrat publication. Hilarious

So now rylan besides the conservative beliefs that throw out obama's plan, you see some actual flaws easily poked in this Jr. Senator's "plan."
It ignores who picks up those $1500 stitching procedures. (can someone say 15,000 dollar toilets)
It doesn't make sense. Saying I'm not going to pay for it. (and don't you think that busines are just going to pass alot the costs to the employees through lower wages and higher prices)
It causes serious problems with insurance companies. With the "loophole".

Well, well....perhaps this is what he REALLY beleives

As Obama was preparing to run for the U.S. Senate in June 2003, he gave a speech to the AFL-CIO, in which he said the following:
I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, is spending 14 percent, 14 percent, of its gross national product on health care, cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody...A single-payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that's what I would like to see. As all of us know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, we have to take back the House.

Rylan, do you atleast see why we think what we think? If they don't carry the same weight for you that is fine, different people value thing differently. But we aren't just some "mind numbed Rush robots" We really do have very valid reasons for our belief structure. and Contrary to certian other people who have posted here Not -close minded idiots- who don't weight and balance our beliefs on a regular basis. There are reasons why we believe what we believe. For me, I hold fast to the conservative idealogy, because I've seen the people in my family who do succeed and the people who don't fail. I have a strong balanced economic backround to test ideas of these politicians. I watch c-span, cnn, fox and read for hours each day. (between projects at work) and I'll be honest, true conservative principles fit much more closely to viable economic models than the socialist principles that the democratic candidates espouse. But right now none of the candidates really have a handle on economics. Romney might, but I'm not sure yet. You know who else did before he tried to go left to please the nutjob left fringe? That governor from New Mexico. His economic policies weren't that bad.
You hold some very typical misconseptions that the left has promoted for years.
But liberal idealogy is steeped in flawed arguments, deception, (al gore's global Inconvenient true where he left out the inconvenient truth) is a perfect example of flat out deception to promote a power grab.
But I challenge you to put down your liberal prism, and observe the world around you.
When you read articles, ask what is the motivation behind this article? Start noticing the sensational words placed in their to elicit an emotion from the reader. And identify the emotion the author was hoping to evoke in the reader. Start asking why.
I think you'll be suprised what you see.

There was a study done by some college professor somewhere, It was a marketing study if I remember right.
And they asked a hypothetical question to two different study groups. And the outcomes in both groups where the exact same.
But one was worded save 1/4 of the world by doing something.
Or kill 2/3 of the world by doing nothing.
The second groups option was
Kill 3/4's of the world by doing something.
or save 1/3 of the world for doing nothing.
The results were enlightening, in the first group killing 2/3 of the world by doing nothing is the better choice. Because 1/3 of the world survive, but 70% of the people questioned chose save a 1/4 of the world.
The other group chose at around 90% correct.
This type of journalism is practiced every day by "neutral" observers of the things in washington. So consider this when you are reading whatever you get your news from...

Haha, I've been asking Democrats to do that for years......Good Luck!
What really really ticked me off, is that when I argue with someone about global warming, they will for the most part cite Al Gore's movie. So I'll take him online, and show them article after article from "believers" who say that gore's movie is incorrect. And I propose, If it is true you don't have to be intellectually dishonest to prove your point. If it isn't you do."
And every single time I hear some version of this, "Well it is ok to stretch the truth to get the desired awareness of a serious problem."
I amazes me.
Of course I can usually get them to say, "it is ok to lie to get what you want, if you believe it is for the greater good." And then they are mine, can you just imagine where you can go with that concept?

Any of you old enough to remember when states first started mandating auto insurance coverage? We were told rates would go down because there would be no uninsured motorists. Ha, Not only did premiums increase they also added a new catagory to charge us for, "Under Insured motorist".
Can't wait for government controlled health insurance. We'll be paying premiums to provide everything from nose jobs to sexual reassignment surgery. Ugly people and transexuals have rights too don't you know?

He also said that if we were starting the system from scratch, that he would use a single payer system, but since that is not an option he believes his plan would be the best solution. If you are going to use a quote... then you should include his entire position.

Why don't you post a link to the whole speech instead of just quoting media matters?

Interesting bit of current news (from CNN):
"Mitt Romney suspended his bid for the Republican presidential nomination Thursday, saying if he continued it would "forestall the launch of a national campaign and be making it easier for Sen. Clinton or Obama to win." "

Yeah, I can absolutely see this happening with Health Care. Anyone who hits the system and is under-insured (meaning they only got health care coverage because they were required to) and ends up costing thousands of dollars that they can't afford will raise premiums all around, because you know if health insurance is universal, the hospitals won't just sit and take all the extra costs, they'll pass that on to insurance providers by charging more for people who have "enough" insurance and that will raise premiums all around.
