Sorry to hear that. I can sure see how you can be very frustrated right now and I hope things work out. Maybe your realtor will get the ball moving again.

Unless you made an insultingly low offer there is no excuse for them not calling back. It's also bad business on the part of the agent because they may encounter you agent in another deal in the future and these guys have long memories.

Ya, that why I cried between 2-3 am this morning. Best Buy is gonna have a hard looking customer this morning.

I'm so sorry
.......I wish I could help cheer you up....

No, it was a great offer.... if it was an insulting one, they should never have asked for an extension.
One house where we were going back and forth with counter offices, and the last one they just let slide, at least the Realtor called us up and said they were going to let it slide.
I'm now not on the real estate page, but am on the rental page. We only have a little time left on this house. I need to secure somewhere to live.
If they came down 10g, we were going to pick up the cash difference in the appraisal and purchase price. I hope they have fun with their upcoming FHA offers because that's all about 90% of people out there are able to get.

Anyway you can extend the closing on your house????
When I bought my house in NY, the people were not ready to move out...we HAD to close and let them stay there another month....BUT they had to pay us rent...

Maybe you could look at doing a lease option. With the screwy market there it might be a solution. Get them to credit half your payment towards down. A couple years worth of payments and hopefully a rebound in appraisal prices by then should solve your problems. Just a thought.

I actually wouldn't want to permanently live here. This was the transition home from our old life to our new.

You can always contact the foreclosure company and offer to rent out and maintain the property. I have seen this done. This way you don't have to move, can usully get a cheaper rent, and the foreclosure people have someone on hand to maintain a property. Might buy you some time.

I mean on other houses. Darths idea about continuing to rent is a good one too. Many vacant foreclosures, even in good areas have been stripped around here. Having the house occupied is a better deal for the owner

Nope. They are willing to pay to get us out early.
Thats weird. With all the trouble you are having finding a house that makes apraisal you'd think they would want you there as long as possible.
Oh well, better luck next time. Seems strange the realtor never called back. This will sound awful but maybe something happened to them and they couldn't call back. Maybe you aren't out of the running yet.

And the day gets worse. I have a senior dog with a bad hip. She went down this morning. There's nothing left to do for her (hip wise.... she's on everything). We know we are nearing the end.
