Just buy a cheap corallife PC fixture for it. Youll be able to keep softies and zoanthids and all that fun stuff, and it shouldnt run you too high at all

You would be able to keep like, the less light demanding LPS, like bubble coral.

I have yet to come accross an LPS that I couldn't keep under PC.

Me as well. LPs can be kept easily under PC lights./ All the ons ive had under halides always do better under Pc lights.

cause the least ammount i can buy here from what iv seen is $60 worth. And i only need 6 pounds . Im goign to try our other store sometime this week. He said 3$ a pound but im sure its going to be crappy.

You could do what I do. They sell "base" rock or "dead" rock. Its rock thats been out of the water. Buy like mostly that and 1 actual LR piece. The goodies will spread to the dead rock and make it live over the course of a month or two and you wont even notice. Saves you money too

for ur size tank..a really good set is prolly around $200..but u can get a decent set for around $100..

Yes when I first started i got 3 or 4 pounds of the base rock, then added live rock. At first i bought maybe 5 or 6 lbs lr, then over time added another 2 pounds or so each time id go to the lfs, out of tanks that were cured. Now ive got probably 23 or 24 lbs in the tank.
