long time no post i know.....im sorry! been busy on another forum (RC)
but heres the latest updates. so ive been battling ULNS or ultra low nutrient system syndrome, where i actually had toooooo clean of water where po4 and no3 were not measurable at all! well now i know SPS tanks like pristine water quality, however corals DO have to eat. so ive found that its best to keep SPS tanks with po4 levels around .04 to .01 range, and i test with the Hannah ultra low range phosphate testing meter.
i have also started feeding my heavily, since my new skimmer i put on a few months back does such a good job of waste removal. i also started spot feeding my LPS again and took my GFO offline and reduced my carbon to under a cup once a month. so far so good from what i see. i will be taking more pictures later so dont worry i'll get those up. ummm other than that, im thinking about adding a new fish to my DT. i want to add a scooter blenny or dragonet. they have soo much character that i cant refuse! ill keep everyone posted.
till the pictures are taken, talk soon!
