thanks for looking that up... I just don't see how people can argue Bush as being a good or even decent pres... the debate of worse, worser, worsest is a more logical debate. Clinton in most regards is looked at as being good to very good.
One sure thing is he isn't the worst unless someone goes back in time and erases Carter's 4 year disaster

So why didn't Clinton take Bin Laden when it was offered to him? I'm asking because I don't know the answer.
The post 9/11 clinton quote was, I would have loved to have taken him, but I just didn't have anything to hold him on.

If he was also provided the questions before hand he would have. Anyone else notice how McCain was answering some of the questions before they were finished?

umm, acording to the moderator, Obama actually had more heads up that McCain did. He was given the actual wording to one of the questions. Both were briefed. Come on, is that really the best you can to, "ummmm, mommy Johnny cheated."

the only problem i see with his choice is that palin is very attractive. People didnt have as hard of a time supporting hilary because she was a masculine looking female (more masculine than palin for sure).

Are you saying Obama isn't experienced enough to handle questions about his beliefs without having been given all the questions before hand? Like the cheater McCain.
There is another more likely senaro here. McCain knows what he believes and Obama doesn't.

Alright now thats enough, recession Bush inherited? Bush inherited a F'ing surplus! the first in U.S. history! speaking of debacles what about Katrina? or Iraq. what about no child left behind? i'm sure when historians look back on both presidents Clinton will smell like a rose compared to Bush who IMO is the worst in history. just check thier approval ratings, nuff said....

well, minus the debacles like black hawk down, selling missile secrets to the chinese, granting them Most favored nation status, turning down Osama when he was offered. His philandering while in office. The "wall between different forms of law enforcement". And the "recession" that bush inherited. I'd say he did a great job.

It legislated over, not governed. The Gov is the state executive, as is the POTUS. Legislating is differnt than leading.

Why don't you explain to us the difference between a recession and a budget surplus?

I'm still not seeing how Iraq is a fault for bush, to make a country like Iraq into a democracy stable enought to handle their own security within 10 years, especially in as volitile an area as the middle east should by any SANE analysis be a crowning achivement.
Unless you don't like democracy and would prefer some sort of dictatorial government...

Once again, approval ratings don't write history. See previous post on Reagan and Lincoln.
Here's how historians are rating them now according to WSJ:
http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110007243
Harding was a very popular president but historians rank him as a failure.
Clinton is average at best.

Jimmy Carter won a nobel peace prize. Bush's administration is under U.N. investigation for crimes against humanity for Katrina. He's lucky the dem's didnt hold an impeachment trial and if he was the leader of any other country he would be on trial for war crimes. it's insanity to me that some cant see what kind of scumbag he really is. Katrina, Iraq, stem cell reasearch, the economy, our veterans, climate change, Bin Laden, jobs, the list goes on and on.
he and McCain voted no to raise minimum wage, voted no to increase funding for our veterans, voted no to fully fund no child left behind, voted no on stem cell research. they gave the wealthiest 1% the largest tax break in history, gave big oil huge tax breaks, they said the war would be over in 3 to 6 months, they didn't properly equip our troops, they didn't find WMD's, they said Bin Laden was no longer a threat. while Louisana and Alabama was drowning he was playing golf, Condi was buying shoes, and the head of FEMA joked " i hope this doesn't ruin my vacation". it's a disgrace!
gas is 4 bucks a gallon but big oil continues to make record profits. energy costs has doubled and tripled in some area's. we are borrowing money from China to buy oil from the Saudi's, were trillions in debt. our wounded troops come home and cant even get the care they need and deserve. our own citizens were called refugee's and his wife had the audacity to say they're better off now then before the storm. millions of jobs were shipped overseas, good jobs. people in Michigan and Ohio are scrambling to make it week to week. the housing market is the worst since the depression, people are losing there homes or watching thier homes value drop and their payments go up.
this all happened under Bush's watch. thats a fact! he didn't inherit any of these problems and certainly not ALL of them. he's incharge so he's responsable it's that's simple and plain to see. the president's basic responsabilty is to uphold the constitution. that life liberty and the pursuit of happiness for ALL Americans ( only the top 5% of the country for him ). the right to privacy ( which his homeland security violated ) freedom of speech and expression and the right to assemble peacefully. ( protesters are now given specific locations, usually far away from where those they wish to protest including him are speaking and alot are arrested illegally) his government did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted and used fear of another terrorist attack to spit on the constitution and ignore the needs and wants of the people to achieve thier political agenda's. and who gained from this? the factory worker? the teacher? the police officer? or the richest 1% the military industrial complex and big oil?
id say that makes him worse than Carter. Jimmy is guilty of being too nice. and admittedly he was weak but he has a kind heart and truly cares about the poor and the helpless as demonstrated by his world reknowned humanitarian and peace negotiating efforts.

One of the named reasons for Carter's Nobel was his work on the anti proliferation pact with North Korea in 1994. You remember that don't you? The one with no verification required that North Korea now admits they cheated on from day one. So we gave them hundreds of millions worth of fuel oil and other goods for what? Carter is such a boob they ought to make him the spokesman for Playtex.

Thousands of US military men and women died due to his LIES. That BS war was NOT worth it at all. Except for BIG Defense contractors. Man talk about totally brainwashed. bush is the WORST of all time ....end of story.

Do you NOT remember clinton saying the exact same things while justifying sending some missiles into Iraq? Lies? I guess every major intelligence network lied about it too.
along with former presidents YEARS before.
If this is all a democrat can come up with, Bush lied people died, garbage, we are in better shape than I thought.

I mocked your last one, but this is actually an argument against Bush. All your facts are wrong. But at least you know what you think that bush is the devil.

Now if only you actually knew about economics, balance of powers, and taxes. You'd realize how wrong your argument really is.

Sorry Clinton DIDN'T Start this bogus war, your boy bush did. Saddens me that there's still people like you who think this war is worth all the thousands of innocent deaths of all people involved. Yeah the world is in better shape alright.
Republicans know how to use fear tactics to scare the American people. Sad but true.
