so i could calibrate my Refractometer It would have been done already...

Yes I know it.. dont seem like it should take that long but it really does, even my 14 gal FW tank seemed like it took forever to fill .. lol

Woo hoo, you're getting there!! I just thought of something. You might want to put a background on the bottom of the tank, so when the fish see their reflection it does not stress them out more.

Yes I am going to get a background for the back and the bottom of the tank. I may just paint them both with Latex paint or at least the bottom of the tank Black.... I have time no fish will be going in there for a while .. lol

almost there lol this is taking forever I should have made up some water from before tonight lol.. I will prob be mixing the salt in the water soon here I think after about 1 more add of water yay then it will officially be a SW tank.. LOL

live and learn........you will have enough time to put salt in before bed time anyhow

Yeah I really should have made some up today, oh I can go to bed at midnite and still get up and 5 am to get ready for work.. LOL.. I can always come home after work check the tank then take a nap for a little bit..

LOl....I filled my 225G with tap.....I had a 5g bucket and I mixed 5g's at a time and poured it in by hand
LOL....BOY WAS I A DUMB NEWB

at the end of the day I could barely stand up (HAHA)

Lol yeah I am letting the 5 gal buckets get about half full then I go and pour it in because I dont need my back aching tomorrow lol

Ughh...I can't sleep. My neighbor is trimming trees. Why? I have no idea, especially since I live in an apartment and the complex has landscapers to do this.

UGH why are they cutting trees at this time of night?? Yes I am making progress its almost full Yay me.. I think here soon I should mix the salt in there..

You're supposed to stir it? I thought you could just have some strong powerheads to agitate it. (actually I just made a couple of 5 gallon buckets of super strong saltwater and mixed it with the plain water I put in the tank)
