Yes thread has been around a while.. LOL Yes I am totally impressed with the Dry Rock I can Pm you where I got it from.. I dunno if they can ship to Canada tho. I think the one kind they can and the other kind they can not. The Fiji Dry rock can not but the Reef saver can be shipped I just looked at it... ITs a good price too and its 10% off until tomorrow...

Thanks Scott, I need to add about another 20 or 30 pounds of rock.
Very Nice all. I think that will work better than the one they sent me with the kit. It is not that Durable and its made out of like press wood.. I think your design will work out much better..
YAYYYYYY....I had one of them tap water filter things before I got my ro/di unit....it worked well....just be sure to let the water run thru it SLOWLY
That refractometer looks just like mine....or do they all look alike...I do not know haha
ups and fed exp...and of course the post office have been here every day this week

Yeah the tap water filter was Suggested to me By BTLD because I can not get a RO/DI unit right now so she said that would be the best thing to get. Did you get your Refractometer from SWF if so then it is prob. the same one as mine.. Yeah with the tap water filter thats what the instructions said to make sure that it is running thru it slowly at like 1 cup per 30 seconds I think...
Well the first three things were FedEx'ed then delivered by the post office and the Refractometer which is from SWF came tonight by FedEX.. Once I get my tank up and running I am sure FedEx is going to be coming here quite a bit.. LOL
NO, I got my refractometer somewhere else....before swf had them I think
also do not forget to toss out the first few gallons of the water....I think it tells you how many in the instructions also

Oh I had looked at many of the refractometers lol they all look the same to me also lol.. Yeah it said to throw out I think the first gallon of water.. I will read the instructions again before I use it and I also need to order more refills for it like a dummy I forgot to order more when I ordered it

IDK....I know I had no issues with my tank swhile I was using it
Well that is good to know, BTLD said the same that she never had a problem while she was using it either. Well I am glad that I bought it because if I would have went to Walmart and bought the water there to fill a 29 gal tank and a 75 gal tank they might think I was crazy or something.. LOL
It's convenient for a little while.....The refills are kind of costly....BUT you will not need a lot....LOL...I had a 225G and 54G.....so I needed lots
Save your change for a good ro/di unit......you can get a really good one for $130 or so.....from airwaterice
Scott when I first set up my 65 I bought 3 5 gallon jug at the water place, they have RO water, I just made a buch of trip till the tank was full. I think they are 2.75 a bottle 5 gallons

Well the Tap Water Filter said that standard is 50-100 gals of water if you have good water.. I will see we have pretty good city water here where I live so, I will have to see.. If I have to buy some from there then it's an option.. I am going to get a RO/DI unit at some point.. Just want to get my tank up and running first then I will get that..
