And obama's foreign policy has been such genius..... One thing Perry would have over 0bama is the understanding of how bad the southern border is screwing up the country. I would have a hard time believing a person who's most extensive job experience prior to becoming president was as a community organizer would be better equipped to be president than someone with a legitimate resume like Perry.
Legitimate resume? You're joking right? The only reason Perry keeps getting re-elected is because we live in a Red State. Our State Legislature is a Republican Supermajority, and he passes bills without any resistance. Yea, our borders are secure. You wouldn't catch me in Laredo. They find bullet holes in cars on our side of the border every day.

He did call someone ignorant just asked if they were.. anyway I just really hope old Sara gets the nod on the republican side because that would guarantee us on the left a victory. Anyway you republicans don't realize the world is changing. The tea party which has lost a lot of support taught people they don't have to fall into the lines they always have. I know a lot of people from my area that thought they were republicans because that's what there parents taught them. They have now opened there eyes. They realize the republicans are wrecking our great country. I bet Paul Ryan can't even get re-elected. In a couple weeks here we have recalls for 6 republican lawmakers. They will not win and democrats will take back over. The dictator Walker will get recalled in January. You will see.
Are you ignorant? Sara has past her limelight. She can't get the nod. She annoys republicans as well...her content is stale...and the media wont allow it.
If you think the tea party has lost support, you might need to seek some education.
As for wisconsin...it has been democratically controlled for a long time........and your problems are not from the republicans...yet you still support those that have put you in your mess......are you ignorant.
Darth (not insulting, just asking questions) Tang
Come on Darth. Sara's on her East Coast Constitution Tour (Think a female Glenn Beck). She's bought a $1.4 million home in Arizona so she can have a more 'centralized base" (Guess she thinks McCain can give her pointers. Maybe he'll be HER running mate)? Do I think she has a chance? You Betcha!!!

Let's see, member of the State Legislature, Ag Commissioner, Lt Governor, Governor, Military experience, Helped run a business. Yeah, I'd say his resume far exceeds 0bama's
He knows how screwed up the border is. I really don't think 0bama has a clue.

Are you like 15?
Can you quote me the specific part of the US constitution that makes unionization a right?

No I am 30. Unions are very important part of our country. The help make sure the rest of us get closer to a far shake to. What you want to trust big company's to treat people right lol. That's a good one. Corporate greed would be worse than it is now. See that's were Walker is at his worst he is to stupid to even realize he is being used by his buddys the koch brothers..

there was no "name" calling, and can you answere the question?
Right....
As far as what would I do
1. I wouldn't be helping to bomb Libya who hasn't posed a threat to this country in several years while ignoring Syria who is an open sponsor of terrorists.
2. I wouldn't have increased spending far and above the irresponsible levels Bush allowed.
3. Lower our UN dues to the level of the next highest paying country and deduct that number by whatever amount New York city submits for what the inconsiderate diplomate incure in parking and towing fines which they use their diplomatic immunity to avoid.
4. End foreign aid to hostile countries other than disaster releif. Would also restrict most aid to US produced goods or services wherever possible.
5. Take the advice of my own debt commission and taken steps to end the fiscal madness.
6. Not taken lavish vacations at a time of very high unemployment in the country.
7. Open more federal lands to oil and gas production and streamlined the permit process. Just read a story today that mentioned the BLM requires 8 levels of review for a permit. Absurd
8. Take away the asinine credit for purchases of electric cars and use that money to instead fund coal gassification projects which creates a clean burning fuel for Diesel and jet engines. Solutions that make a difference today, not in 20 years.
9. Had balls enough to throw out a plan, any plan to deal with Medicare which unless we see an economic boom like the late 90's will be broke in 10 years
10. Create a commision of military commanders who vote on any new military equipment before it gets to congress. If the commanders don't favor it, and congress still passes it I would veto the spending bill.

Unions served a purpose back when there weren't things like state and federal overtime and workplace safety laws. They had their time and served their purpose but now less than 10 percent of the private sector work force is unionized. The only place they affect wages is in the publc sector where about a third of the jobs are union. When was the last time you heard of a industry kicking out a union? They haven't, it's damn hard to do. The unions have forced the industries overseas. In the early 70's just over 25% of private jobs were union. Today it's just over 7%. The best jobs I ever had were non union and while the 2 union jobs I had weren't the worst they were far from the best. I saw the same thing at both jobs. A lot of people who just did what they had to because they either A) Were lazy and knew they would get the same raise no matter what or B) were sick and tired of busting their butt to get the same pay as the slugs.

I don't understand why two liberals want palin to get the nod. ......you think she would lose. But remember when the right had people changing parties to vote in primaries to get obama the nod over hilary. The right thought obama would be easily beat due to his extreme views.......the right is to blame because he is the guy the right wanted to run against.....look how that turned out.
We should be hoping for the best possible candidate on bothsides..this way we we get the best offerred. Instead...we get mediocrity and sell outs....because we just want our side to win. If you felt obama was a solid leader...you wouldn't hope for a nutjob to run against.....as obama should beat anyone if he was solid.

No Wisconsin did not get sewed up until Walker and the rest of the criminals that call them selves Republicans did so lately. Voter suppression bill, concealed right to kill, and the whole taking away anybody's right to barrgin by the dictator is what is screwing this state up. And this state has a budget surplus but yet they think we should defund public schools and give people vouchers for private schools. That's what I call ignorant.
Are you ignorant or just misinformed?

Same thing happened with Reagan and Clinton

Rick Perry is the Ultimate Good Ole Boy. Knows how to work the system, but in the background he is sticking it up your rear. Refuses any Federal handouts that would help our State education, but whines when he doesn't get assistance for some grass fires. Spends $100K/year for a mansion in a gated community for just him and his wife, while Texas is facing a $16 billion deficit. Thought he should tell parents of 11 year old girls they should force them to take a vacination for a disease normally contracted by sexual intercourse. Perry hasn't put one effort in securing our borders. We have more illegals crossing the Rio Grande than Arizona and California combined.
Why should Obama or the Feds secure the borders? I thought you Conservatives believe the States should handle their own affairs?

Uhh, Arizona tried to take control of the immigration problem and YOUR boy 0bama sued them for it. Could you imagine what he's do if they actually tried to patrol the border? 100K a year for a governors quarters seems dirt cheap to me. You sure about that number? I am not sure why parents would be against that vacination, that is a nasty form of cancer that virus can cause but I am on the fence as far as government mandated vaccinations.

Define "two liberals". Sarah Palin is one screw loose of being mentally unstable. The only reason she was Governor in Alaska is because half the people up there didn't even know who was running when she got elected. We could have a nuclear explosion in Texas, and Alaska wouldn't know about it for a week. Someone should've slapped McCain up side the head when he even thought about using her as an angle for his run. I guess he thought that if Hillary had such a popular vote on the Dem side, then the country may be ready to have a woman in a top position.
Is there even another candidate on the Dem side? I haven't even heard of anyone that was planning on going against Obama in the Democratic Party. That alone is a sad statement of our political parties.

Protecting the country is a federal power listed in the constitution...borders fall under this heading.....
I am not going to argue to support perry.....not a fan.......he is as bad as obama at using the tax payer dime for needless crap.

Do you even know how Palin won the first Governor's election? She took out the sitting governor in the Republican primary. I would say the voters had a pretty good idea who she was.

Neither I am right! Do you not think that a week after Walker took office the Koch brothers opened a office in downtown liberal Madison. Walker wants to take away billions of dollars from our kids public schools and us the money to expand a voucher program for private schools that is real information.
And I wish someone from the left would come up against Obama he is not far enough left.

Of course he doesn't...his figures for the govenors rental mansion are wrong and he lives there...the cost is actually much higher.

Some arsonist tried burning down the Governor's Mansion. Instead of moving into suitable accomodations for him and his wife, he rents this 6,000 sq. ft. mini-mansion in an exclusive part of Austin at the tune of $10K/month (or something like that). He has to have adequate space for his security detail, his maids and cook staff, and to have a place to "socialize" as far as having dignitaries and such come to his house parties.
Sorry Obama is not MY boy. I just agree with several of his policies.
The Gardasil vaccaination targets only one or two of the viruses that MAY cause cervical cancer. When he tried this mandate, the drug hadn't even gone through extensive research or long-term testing. I think it was only on the market for two years at the time.
His latest holier than thou mandate is requiring women who want an abortion to have a sonogram, then sit there and listen to a doctor describe in detail the status of the fetus. So now a woman who probably doesn't have the money to support a kid, is forced to pay for a sonogram she doesn't want. It's the ultimate government intervention into an individual's personal freedoms.

The only thing Alaskans care about is their annual stipend for the oil drilled there. They worry more about who'll win the Iditarod than who the Governor is.
The reason she "took out" Murkowski, is apparently the people there weren't too pleased he bought himself a fancy jet:
Mr. Murkowski’s office tried to obtain money from the Homeland Security Department to buy the jet, saying it would help “defend, deter or defeat opposition forces.” He was denied. Later, in 2005, against the wishes of the Legislature, Mr. Murkowski used state money to buy it for $2.7 million.

I am about half way between pro life and pro choice. The Sonogram deal is well intentioned but like you said adds costs on to the deal the woman probably can't afford.
