Tiffany,
What do you think of:
emperor red snapper
pilotfish
threadfin lookdown
Unicorn Tang
Various Anglers
Eels
Mustard Guttatus Tang
Microcanthus strigatus (Latin Name)
Maori Wrasse
I want to hear your comments on all of them :)
Sorry if some of the fish were mentioned before, etc.... or If I'm starting to annoy you with all of my fish recommendations... Lol... but I love looking at possible stocking options for your tank... just too much fun for me... LOL

Thank you for your picks!! I heard that the lionfish is bad to have with triggers but that's just what i've heard. Naso is on my list of fishies to get! I love your choice of triggers i will have to check out the Lei trigger!
You know now that you mention it I think I've also read somewhere that triggerfish will pick on the lionfish. I had my humu with a dwarf fuzzy for a while and they always seemed to ignore each other, but maybe with more triggers they might pick at him.

Most of the fish you have chosen I would need to research more. Not getting any Eels though and I didnt think an Angler would be a good choice but like I said I need to research more. Traveler you can't live your dreams through me okay!!!

okay quick update: Just placed my order for new lights. Getting three sets of LED's. (dont ask which kind I have no idea, getting them from my wholesaler buddy)
Skimmer: getting an Etss 800. Only rated at 400G but ill put another skimmer on it if I have too. Been stalking CL for the last month and this is the only one ive been able to find. I really don't want to spend 700 on a skimmer.

Okay question: I havent started cycling my tank yet because I figured I should put the skimmer in first..am I correct with this?

Better off not running the skimmer on the initial build of bacteria, unless of course you are moving livestock, rock, sand and water from another tank right away. Then I would run all filtration and keep the ammonia level at a maximum of .5 to initiate a soft cycle.

Yea I plan on moving about 100 lbs of live rock and some rubble out of the sump from the other tank. I'll start doing this when I get the skimmer. Hopefully I'll be getting it this weekend.

I vote for a dog face fish! I absolutely adore the way they look! I don't know very much about them except that they have excellent personalities and they're quite intellegent. I can't remember where I read this but is it true that when any puffer or box fish dies that it releases some kind of toxin that that can kill the other fish in a closed aquarium environment?

box fish has a toxic slime as does a mandarin.but a puffer does not.i do remember my puffer when it came up for food excited would spit water.almost got me a few times.

Thanks for the info. deejeff442 It's good to know that one day when I have a bigger tank (probably not as big as Tiffany's...that tank size is pretty intimidating!) that I can safely keep a DogFace puffer without worrying that there's a possibility it could nuke my tank.
