If you are talking about the book of revelations (and I am sure that you are), every generation has thought that their generation was the generation that was talked about. That is not to say that our lifetime is not going to be the lifetime, but to say that this is not the point. You are supposed to live a certain way, not because you think God will return tomorrow, but becuase that is how you choose to live for God.

Yes, but I don't have to travel thousands of light years to do it. And if there are aliens out there and other planets worth visiting, there's got to be something far more interesting than us.
