yea pass it her way=P, hey peef did u notice a increase in the amount of heat ur top is giving off now? i know i should get a chiller but my tank is actually stable at 78 lol it might go down a but here and there but it has never gone above 80.1

i do plan on getting a chiller for the summer b/c i know someone will turn of the ac and i really don't want to kill everything that way

You can definetely do that with your BC hood. I got all the stuff I needed from nanotuners. It was easy to install and makes a massive difference in the color. And if I ever decide to get rid of my brain I will def give you first dibs. I love it too. It got stung by my nem like a month ago and started to bleach in the little spot but I baby'd 'im and now he is good. I was a little worried though.

I didn't notice any heat increase but my chiller is set to kick on at any temp past 77.5 so I wouldn't have noticed anyway. They don't run that hot though. I like to have a chiller but thats sweet your tank stays at around 78! I heard thats what these hoods were designed to do but I went ahead and bought the chiller so I could keep it at 76, I mucked about with the temp for awhile and have decided that 76 is optimal for growth and overall health.

really cool 76 huh maybe i should start doin that. when i was running the tank empty i played with temps that my house has to be at so i know my tank won't over heat=P, and if my temp in my house increases a little i leave the clap open and that does the trick but im worryed lol for the summer when my house might reach 78 lol or worse. but by then i'll have a chiller

Sheesh I know its been awhile....I started a new job at a state park here in Key Largo. I have been working 70 hour weeks for the last month with no days off
Sooooo I have been coming home at night eating and sleeping to start over. Not to mention I also ride my bike to work now which is a 7 mile to and from, so I can get back in shape a bit.
But yeah I am going to be back now as much as I can.
PD I wish you lived closer so I could just give you the xenia...I LOVE it and love the way it is on my back wall and on the back side glass but it is growing and growing and growing and did I mention GROWING!!!!
