I don't like it... I don't like how it looks and especially how it functions. I now can't posts pics. I just made a new thread and couldn't get the pics to show up.... guess I'll share elsewhere :-(
I am also having an issue with posting pictures....I have to post mine thru photobucket.....I use to be able to just attach them from my picture folder in my computer

I DO NOT like having to do this extra step :(

Posting pics seems to work for me, straight from my pictures folder...hmmmm....

edit: the SW folks were working on the site for a while this morning, maybe that was the problem
try it again...

I have the opposite problem. It didn't work for me before but it works for me now. Well...that really isn't a problem lol.

I liked the forum before we made ANY changes. The one before the nonfunctional one we just replaced.
Haha; I've only been on the boards for a year and a half; and I think this is the third or fourth forum. I swear I'm just not coming back for the next "upgrade". I took a month off after this one just because I was busy and didn't want to read new instructions or figure it out.

I'm annoyed that pictures on lots of old posts just don't seem to be there. I was looking for pictures of clown fish eggs the other night and EVERY single post that claimed it had pictures; just had plain picture boxes that were empty.

Ok wait for it; Positive Reinforcement: I love the fact that our subscriptions can be found easily and clicked on by just checking a box next to the new posts. That part is Awesome and may have been worth having to learn the forum again
<=== eeew creepy licking smiley. oh well

There's too many clicks involved to get new posts up and to mark them as read.

That wasn't the first time the photo thing didn't work. I will just now be known as Sans Photo Renee.

There are still issues with dead links in the "New Hobbyist" stickies. Today I wished to point a new member to the "The Cycle" thread, but the link is dead in the listing:
https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/264597/a-list-of-extremely-helpful-threads-for-all-hobbyists
Several other stickies listed are also dead.
3rd request for repair.

Very unfortunate. But I don't see any hope of recoving that useful thread. All that is listed now in edit mode is the title of the topic without a link directing where to find the topic.

When you hover over the link, you get the post #. In the case of "The Cycle", the post is 116184. You can then edit your url to https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/116184 and get to
https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/116184/saltwater-aquariums-101-the-cycle
Can you rebuild from that?
wish I had done this yesterday when I needed it....

Yes, that could be the way to resolve much of the problem. I'll work on it slowly but surely. Cudos to you!

Unfortunately some post numbers still revert back to the forum homepage. However, I have been able to fix some, including the cycle topic. It will be a process to go through all of them.

Not sure who MR is, but tapatalk is an app for smartphones to view forums. It is a much easier way to navigate forums than the native browsers.
