Don't talk to me until you show me some PICS!!!

OK...here are some pics
When I got home today my husband had carried it in already
Attachment 223071
I opened the box .....a little disappointed cause it didn't have paper like the last shipment to keep it wet.
Attachment 223072
Took pieces out of box, and placed in tote with SW from 29g...
Attachment 223073
I know it is hard to tell...but the pieces are nice, and I think will be easy to arrange....
Since it was a little on the dry side...I do not know if I should leave in tote a few days or not

It does have some nice color though

Yeah, it looks like it's rich in color. Don't you just LOVE that smell. Seriously that is my favorite smell...well my favorite smell that doesn't remind me of food lol.

Was it just a box of dry rock?
WELL...we had already taken the wet stuff off before I took the pic.
It's not dry dry...but not real wet either

Last 2 times I ordered from them the rock was wrapped "wetter"
So since my new SW isn't ready, I think I will leave it in the tub (cause I don't have a choice) till tomorrow.....then I will put it in tank tomorrow night
what do you think...is that a good idea or should I wait longer...what could it hurt in the 29g..the sand?
I almost had a clam
it is attached to a piece of rock, but looks like it recently died

The rock does not smell bad...so that's a good sign, and there is not a lot of "debris" in the tote water either

No real reason to wait. Do you have another heater? If so put it in the tote with the rock. Do you have another powerhead? If so put it in the tote with the rock.Try to get the temp of the tote up to or close to the tank temp. If you want to try to save whatever life is on there don't let it get too cold.
What did you buy in terms of cured, uncured, or dry rock? If I had paid a premium for cured rock and it came to me like that with no wet paper and not in a plastic bag I would be a tad upset.

It just says Figi live rock
it was $99 for 50lbs.
yeah I have lots of heaters
I have a bubble bar in with it right now, and the water it is in came directly from the 29g tank...I do have a small heater too....
Do you think the bubbler will be good enough...believe me I have about 5 extra air pumps from my fw tanks that I could hook up if I need to...The only PH I have in in the 29g right now keeping the SW that's left circulating...i had to turn the filter off when I took the water out to put in the tote with the rock.
I'm not too disappointed...I think I can (or husband can) arrange this rock nicely, and I think it may be okay...

No why would you do that...the reference to the cat hair was cause my cat obviously was in this tote before I put the rock in
LOL
YES, I have thought a lot about what to keep in there...BUT I still have no idea

$2.00 per pound is very inexpensive for live rock. I think the bubbler and the heater will be fine. Can't wait to see how you scape the tank!

I already asked my husband how "HE" thinks "HE" is going to place the rock....I am a stick figure artist

The temp is 76 right now...I am going to bring it to 78-80...that is what the tank was reading...sound ok?
