Can't wait to see my...err your light on that tank haha.
Good work, anything interesting hitchhike on? The most interesting thing I ever got was an emerald crab
Some people are luckier though...post some pics when it clears and when you get your equipment

Did you swish the rock around to get the loose stuff off first? Rock has a lot of dead stuff on it if ammonia reached that high in your tote in 24 hours.
Scape does look good.

I read that...it was a long time ago though...march...this is April

I think SOFT...I have my filter on, my lights are on, and my 1 little PH...My new lights and protein skimemr will be here Friday....The other 2 Koralias....I do not know yet.
Anything else I need to do? Should I put this light on a timer? Or will a few hours a night be enough (when I get home)..I think I have another timer
It would only be till Friday anyway!

Oh yeah...neither is really, "better" but most would go with soft since well you can keep some more critters alive this way. Some however don't care and just take the lazier way out.

I have no clue yet....I figure I still have a month to decide while it cycles...I want some shrimp cause I can't have them in my 225g cause the stingray eats them, and can't have the fancy shrimp in the 54g cause I have seahorses
....so besides that I HAVE NO CLUE

The 54 has seahorses, a few fish and a few corals
I think Rays a re considered aggressive, but mine just likes shrimp
and crabs too..oh and nudibranches, sea slugs..get the point
But it also eats right out of my hand too...I have lots of fish with it and it bothers nothing but inverts
