Your taxes are lower today than they were in 95. What exactly has been taken?
I watch a good deal of news. I also read and check things for myself. As I said, the economy is doing better and you're paying lower taxes....

Guess who controls the media? If TX is going to Mexico its because of the lack of enforcing immigration laws, which is the fault of both parties.

Someone failed to tell us or Mexico that... Remember it's the Dems that opposed the border fence. It's democratic states like California that keep giving more rights to illegal immigrants (from all countries)

I am stupid i just realized where bush was from!Sorry but here in ky people are losing jobs,factorys closing every week.And texas quit buying are ford pickups.The state in a whole is getting very bad.And indiana isnt doing any better.All are jobs are going to mexico for the free trade agreement.Thats the real deal around here..

we have no real chioce when it comes to presdents,there all rich, its a bad thing.I always thought pulling s.s numbers out of a big hat would be better for all.And I think I like talking about sand and fish better then them.Politics gets on my nerves.About the sand I really hate paying that much for sand,A vacation and free sand sounds alot better to me.

I disagree, I just feel like the media needs to better inform people on the candidates and what they stand for and what they've voted for.
Tacoma, to be honest it sounds like we have many of the same concerns, but you seem to be blaming the wrong party...

And now the democrats want to increase the minimum wage which will cause even more employers to lay off since they will be mandated to pay more.
The problem with running for office is the cost. This excludes a lot of quality people. What this country needs is less politicians and more citizens in charge.
Tacoma, the increasing prices and downsizing quantites of products today is very frustrating. This is why I build most of my own stuff. With bigger government the cost of everything will always continue to go up. The rich politicians will not be affected by this. With smaller government companies and individuals have more freedoms and with competetion and the prices go down.

I'm worried too, but about different things. I worry chiefly about the effects the media has on swaying public opinion.

I got something for you all to talk about.Why havent we moved on over to IRAN.Cant anyone in washington tel they are feeding everything to the insurgents in IRAQ.Lets save a billion maybe 2 if we just move are troops and equip there now instead of bring it all home.Why cant I be the pres.Thing would hit the wall then.Or I would be killed.

Who said we were bringing our troops home? Again, that's the Democrats. Most Republicans want to finish up in Iraq.
Don't forget, the President called Iran one of the "Axis of Evil" and was blasted by the Democrats for saying it.
