As for STD's, please don't tell me that a lack of belief in God or His commands could possibly decrease this number. The Pope is also against pre-marital --- and --- outside of marriage in general. Obviously if people were following through with these Biblical commands there would be very low STD numbers in the world.
Here's the thing, people in aren't waiting for marriage to have --- and if they were using contraceptives there WOULD be a decrease in the amount of STD and AIDS. People in Africa aren't following the ideas of the bible and they also aren't being taught the benefits of using a condom. I do think the Catholic church is doing more harm than good in preventing that education from getting to a location of the world where it is needed most. I think it is a valid claim and there is no proof that a lack of God couldn't decrease the amount of STDs or AIDS in that region, that is a statement not backed by any sort of proof. Yes, religion can do a lot of good, but so can education and human love not backed by a belief in God.

I am an atheist and you would never know it when I was walking down the street or trying to sell you something in a store. I know many christians that dress like "goths" and I know many atheists that dress in a respectable manner that you would hire on the spot if you weren't told their beliefs. It sounds like you want to believe that all atheists are bad people who dress in black. But that just shows that you haven't sat down and had an honest conversation w/an atheist. You might be suprised at how similar the morals of an atheist and Christian can be. The atheist poplulation is as diverse as the population that identifies as Christian.

I realize that everyone is prejudice in some way shape or form and most aren't proud of that (or not likely to admit it). It seems to me as if you are proud of it? Do you think that because you are a Christian you are a better person?

Yes I have seen the videos. Many of them are wearing jeans and a T-shirt and expressing a lack of belief based on logical reasoning.
For me, they confirm the belief that atheists/agnostics can take words and form them into sentances. What I take from what you are saying is you don't agree w/their beliefs so you attribute negative characteristics w/them.

Your actually not free to discriminate though. Your thoughts are your own, but as soon as they negatively affect others and it can be proved in court it's illegal.

I've seen evolution occur. Bacteria replicate at a fast enough rate that it is possible.
All evolution means is a change in allele frequency through time.
Evolution occurs when I storm wipes out half a population leaving people people w/different charcteristics alive.
There may be disputes about whether the "big bang" theory is correct, I certainly don't have any background to support or deny the findings. But evolution is a real thing that is occuring every day.
Also, you wouldn't see monkeys evolving in the zoo because evolution happens at an extremely slow rate.
And by the way, Survival of the fittest, does not mean survival of the biggest and stronger. It means those who produce more babies pass on more genes than those who produce less offsrping.

LMAO! Religion is always changing and stealing ideas from native people to help convert them...look at the Celts and Germans and the influence they have had. The bible was written hundreds of years after the events actually happened; its accuracy is questionable at best.
