    First Clam

Squamosa are hardy, just so your water parm. are good and the lighting is right you should have no problems. I wouldnt recomend target feeding the clam or any clam for that matter if you want to feed phyto feed the tank. The clam looks good and healthy and will get huge. Good luck.

I have over 5,000 gph in my 55 gal sps tank so it depends on the type of coral he keeps.

    My New Clam

Depending on your light you dont really need to feed it anything but light and fish pooh. Make sure you do not directly feed the clam, and if you are going to feed, feed the tank. Most croceas are more gaped then other corals i think yours will be fine, and like they said make sure you put it on...

    PO4 test kits

Everything is electronic so it calibrates itself, its the best po4 meter out there and is about just under $200 so its expensive, but to me its well worth it since i have mostly sps.

    New 65g SPS tank underway...

Nice i like the tunze, but i didnt want all the powerheads in my tank so thats why i went with the vortechs, plus i love the fact that i can pick and choose what mode to put them in. I think right now in my tank i have close to 5,000 gph or so in my tank with just 2 powerheads and my return...

    New 65g SPS tank underway...

In my 55 gal mostly sps i have 2 vortech powerheads dialed about 2/3 or so maybe more and my mag 7 for my return. You may find yourself needing more flow then that in your tank when things grow out. The more flow the better for the sps.

    Adequate Lighting for Clams

I for one would never put any clam under such low lighting as stated before they need lighting for food. I have had my clams in my 55 gal which has 2 250 watt and 1 150 watt MHs, and i hardley ever feed my clams anything, but light and fish poop. So i wouldnt recomend putting them under anything...

240g in wall shallow reef build

Just askin cause i have a mostly sps system right now that i run 2 14k 250 watt pheniox bulbs and 1 20k 150 watt xm bulb and im thinkin of going to all 20ks cause right now im not running any vhos cause of electic cost, so let me know how u really like those radium 20k bulbs and maybe ill try them.

240g in wall shallow reef build

The radium 20ks are a good choice bulb for sps i wouldnt change that at all. Thats a good choice bulb i really like radiums, and for ur tank it will work out just fine. Any reason u choose a 20k over the 12k or the 10k just curious since u are running vhos also.
