Salt is all the same (a bunch of marketing bs&lies and expensive)... its time to stop fearing adding 2 part to your tanks and start automating it and loving how consistent and stable it makes your tanks LOL.

Run a turf scrubber, they can be employed to run above the top of the tank with a powerhead (and they're cheap to build) when a sump is not possible.. I know silencio had one on his old 55.. check out the mega nitrate, phosphate, etc. remover thread in the reef section.

I bet you're excited to get that beast going.. Are you going to toss in a bunch of established sand and rock to get a quick cycle?

I'm voting for cleaning products getting in the tank... KH is very low for my taste same with temp&SG. Why not run a phosban reactor on there and some chaeto??? testable PO4 and NO3 is foul... lol... EDIT: or... employ the almighty turf scrubber...

You've been following that turf scrubber thread right? My pH stays rock solid on my 15gallon with one on a turf scrubber light 18 hours on/6 hours off with the 6 hours off being in the middle of my display tank metal halide on period.

make sure you blow sand off the corals and rocks lol.. don't want to kill anything because of sand blockage.
