    day 2 with blue carpet

FWIW if you keep a carpet under enough light and provide enough current that it 'rolls' the cap slightly as long as he's feed he will not move. i'v had them stay put in the spot i placed them into the tank for over 5 yrs. they also prefer a sandy substrate with a rock next to them to attach...

    Lets show off those predators!

all my predators will go to that tank. the 75 has 2x400w MH lighting and its original intent was not to be made predator when i moved all the mixed corals to the 180 but to be made into an SPS/Clam tank. chances are likely that i'll make it that when i move the predators out and add new rock...

    Water Movement

this has been discussed in depth about a gazillion times over the 25 yrs i'v been keeping marine tanks. the best answer i can give you is that the ocean doesnt turn off at night, the tide is the strongest influence on currents and its controled by the moon and it causes 2 surges in a 24 hr...

    Anemone for Clown FISH

the Sebae was probably your best choice IMO. why did you want to get rid of it if they were being hosted in it allready? second in line of your choice is the carpet, but they get huge and like to eat quite a bit of silversides, they eat fish not shrimp and squid. they demand high water quality...

    Looking for coral recommendation...

it depends on how strong your strong current is. Xenia IME will grow fairly well in medium strong current, and GSP's will grow in very strong current. i dont recommend any LPS with very strong current, SPS are better suited if you light and water quality are up to par. hth kc
