    stray voltage questions.

yeah so its what i thought it was. so im guessing a quick way to tell if you have stray voltage is if everything dies is short order in my tank, which hasnt happened. i have never been shocked except by my powerstrip with a wet hand. should i be testing this too?

I have 640 gph of flow in my 30 gallon tank. I know its like 20x the amount of water you have in your tank...

    I hate my stupid filter

I run a marineland biowheel 350 and its whisper quiet. Do you have the water all the way up to the edge of the filter? that was my problem and it created lots of air bubbles in the water too. I gotta say after doing a water change this morning and seeing how clean the filters were after 2 weeks...

Bigger tanks better for beginners, but can you have too big?

i dont know about bigger is better really. as long as you have a good handle on what your doing (read" lots of research before hand) then you should be fine with a smaller size. my first take is a 30 gallon and is moving along great. admittingly i stated out all wrong, but i read up on it and...
