If i had to do it over again... I would not get a pro-clear. I would build the wet/dry myself. Their protein skimmers are way to small, do not get them.

Zebra has flat teeth. Since eels are almost blind, I figured I would rather have a mishap with flat teeth than with sharp teeth:)

Zebra eats inverts while the Tess eats fish and inverts. I think they are both awesome looking. I chose the Zebra because he is more peaceful.

Mine is a pig:) I feed him until he refuses food. I do a combination of live fiddler crabs/crawfish once a week, scallops, krill, cocktail shrimp (shell on) on other days. If you feed your smaller fish mysis shrimp and such and he is hungry, he will come out looking for food.

What is the difference in inches between the water level in the inner box and the outer box? The pipe that stands in the middle of the outer box, the lower it is, the more differential and the faster the water will flow.

I also have a dual overflow with a Mag 9.5 and no problems. The problem has to be in your overflows. Make sure that the height differential between your stand pipe and the level in the in-tank overflow is large enough to create good flow.
