Just some new guy's and personal favorites. Yellow clown goby just got today. Seems to really like my toadstool leather.

Hey PiscesBlue, Thanks for sharing. I went today to see them, and I was very impressed. They were very knowledgeable and didn't try to give me false info just to make a sale. The best part is that they gave me a free mushroom. Thanks again, I have definitely found my favorite LFS.

No, it won't be as good as RO water. The only thing that the brita filter will do is take out most of the chlorine, but not any of the hard metals, phosphates, or nitrates if present. I did that for a while until I had an out break of hair algea. Now I only use RO/DI.

I just asked the insurance about that, and they said that they will insure the equipment, but not the livestock. So if you have several thousands of dollars worth of fish, coral, and lr your just SOL.

It might have been his molt you were looking at. This is normal for the addition of a new shrimp. He is probably hiding in the rock till his exoskeleton hardens. You might look again to see if you can find him, but he will probably come out in a few days. HTH.

Maybe you had a mini-cycle. And I also would like to see your other levels. Has anything else died other than the corals and goby?

Thanks for the replys. After doing a little research I've decieded to pass on them. I really don't want to take the chance of it poisoning my tank. T4TH.:)

Will this cause any harm to my reef? My lfs says that it should be fine. He told me that they eat algea, but I looked them up on the internet and it said that they are carnivores. So can anyone enlighten me on the subject? T4AH and Happy Thanksgiving!

I will be starting a new aquarium very soon. It will be a 58 gallon reef ready (with sump). The dimensions are somewhere around 30" wide X 18" deep X 24" tall. I'm not positive if the height is right or not, but it is close. So my question is, will 4 75 watt vho's be enough for some lps corals...

Yes, that is a very good deal. Just make sure he hasn't used any unwanted chemicals like copper in his tank. Good luck.

It looks like a blue linkia. They are reef safe. I've never had any problems with mine. I think they feed off of pods. HTH.

I've just had my blenny a couple of days. I see him out and about everyonce and a while, and then there's times when I can't find him at all. But I think he's pretty cool. Thanks;)

When I woke up it looked like this. I just thought that was awesome. I figured the lawnmower blennie and emerald crab would clean it up in a week or so, but one night, WOW!

Yesterday I bought a small rock with shrooms on it for twenty buck (cheapest I've seen in my area yet). They only problem is it also had a lot of green hair algea on it.
