    Cheap, Great looking lunar lights!

This maybe should have been in the DIY forum, but i figured what the heck. I just went to Autozone and bought some mini blue LED lights that are in the "import tuner" section. They are supposed to be in a car shining on the dash or floor, or whatever. They come in a pair. I also bought a female...

    Do you ever feel guilty?

Also, if you think about it, in a well cared for tank, what does a fish or other creature have to worry about? No predators, readily available food that is chosen for each different creatures needs. IMO i think we do the fish a favor. That is however if we go by the rules and dont put them in...

    LR Question

I'm by no means an expert on this, but from what i've read on here and other forums, if you get your LR from a LFS and its fully cured, you should be able to add it with out problems as long as its kept moist and not out of the water for very long. I added about 10lbs a couple weeks ago to my...

    Worm ID?

I checked the hitchhiker thread and didn't see anything that fit the description. I have at least 3 of these white worms in my LR. They range from 12 to 2", and they are about as big around as a small sewing needle. They only come out when the lights are off and when i shine a light on them...

    Sands in Ohio??

I used Garden Basics Play Sand from walmart. It passes the test and looks great in the tank. U have to wash it a little at a time in a bucket though before you put it in or it will cloud the water really bad. I washed mine over and over before i put it in 3 weeks ago, and the tank has never...
