Updates: As mentioned the tang had gone back to the lfs a while back and I also lost the lemonpeel to a 48 hour evacuation/power outage during last years so cal wildfires. The hair algae is due to outdated bulbs which were replaced last week. Thanks again nycbob Now im fighting off Aptasia...

Ive also had them for a aprox 6 months. They tend to come and go, never figured out what they are but my tank has been fine

Hello everyone, I just noticed a few of these in my skimmer when I was doing some maintenance. Upon further review I would say theirs about 75-100 of them in my sump. I tried to search and the closest thing I found are Spirorbid worms. Is this what they are? Thanks for your help

The rule of thumb ive read on this site is 1-2lb rock/per gallon. If money is an issue you can always buy 40-50 lbs LR and the rest can be base rock. This will be cheaper.

After small water change (10%) it will start skimming again in a few hours. Havnt needed to a do a larger change to help ya out.

After cleaning my skimmer it will take a day or two to create the bubbles and dry foam again.

I took bobs advice a few weeks back and went with the nova extreme pro. My clam along with other corals are doing fine so far, they look as good as the day I got them.

All this work with no upgrade. Bite the bullet, I voted for longer tank
