oh and the 2.5g fuge is sitting in a 30g sump with etts skimmer and dyi wet dry i made. the water movement seems pretty good but maybe its not getting into the fuge good enough?

the macro in my fuge is turning brownish purple and looks wierd. its not really grean anymore....what is causing this? too much light? its only a 20 w bulb. it isnt really growning alot either. i believe it is chaeto. it is really stringy stuff. what is wrong wiht it?

yeah, i didnt have alot of room under my sump at all andd i was able to fit the delux under the stand no prob. its awesome

maybe it is just the picture but mine looks really bright white on his belly and nice bright green on the top. and alot plumper. but i have had him for a while. and maybe its just the picure. good job being able to keep him in sw. the colors will get really bright

i have a reef devil delux. it is over rated for my tank so im good there. and i have a 30g sump/wetdry/fuge. i dont have any levels. how aggressive are blue ribbons? i know they are hard to keep but jut wondering. and what are other good eels and my humu gets along with everyone no problem...

my etts finally broke in and it was workin great until today...i fed my fish and my old skimmer used to go nuts and skim like crazy but on my etts it stopped making foam pretty much and it got louder. it was skimming great all day until i fed. this is the first or second day of it actually skimming

i use the light fixture above from home depot with one of those twisty looking bulbs. its a 20w bulb 6500k daylight. works fine. not really hot either.

there is a guy named craig who has lists of stuff for sale. i got my tank from his website. it is a 90g and i paid 150. it is in great condition.

definatly awesome skimmer. took a couple days to break in but is working great
